    • Epson does not honor warranties from non Epson approved 3 rd party sellers BEWARE!
Brand new Epson Et 3850 printer bought from Amazon seller GamerLand Express Had expired warranty Dec30/23. Not notified of this when purchasing Epson will not warrant due to unauthorized 3 rd party seller I had to return it. My money is tied up and I have no printer until seller gets the return!

It seems to work OK, and the separate ink containers are appealing. But 3 button presses required to just turn the thing off? OK, if it is printing something when the button is pressed, maybe throw a confirmation dialog. But the other 99.9% of the time, just *do* it.

    • Seems a Good Machine, But Took Hours to Install - Support Was a Bad Joke
Installation required going through endless steps and updates. It literally took hours. When I registered the machine with Epson, I was told that my warranty had expired 7 months before I purchased the printer. It took 6 emails and 3 phone calls to set the matter right. I had to submit all the information about the purchase three times. The support women were nice but incredibly slow. All in all, if I could start over, I'd buy something else. ... show more

    • Unreliable and Not Worth the Cost
I had an HP Printer/Scanner for 13 years that worked great in my home office but it was really big and obsolete. Instead of buying another HP, I spent almost $400.00 on an EPSON ET-3850 thinking it would be an upgrade but I was wrong. Whenever I needed to print something, it would print a blank page. I had to spend 30 minutes to an hour troubleshooting issues with Customer Service every time I wanted to print something. I work from home so this is a huge problem. I needed something reliable so after 6 months of issues with the EPSON, I ended up purchasing an HP Printer for half the cost and have had no problems. I wasted $400.00 on the Epson. ... show more
