Has 2 heat settings, and a fan only. It rotates to spread the heat around and looks like a cool robot head. It has a safety feature that turns off the unit if tipped over. Good for by your feet or on a desk.

This compact little heater works really well. It heats up a large bedroom fairly quickly. The oscillation is nice and the tip over protection works. Can't beat the price on this one.

I ordered this heater to replace an old one by a different brand I suspect may be on its way out on me. I liked the oscillating aspect and how it has a fan mode in addition to the two heating modes. It does deliver on heating up a small space (or even medium space) very quickly. It is also remarkably quiet and attractive. The non-tip factor is comforting for peace of mind as well. The cost when compared to other heaters of this size and wattage/heat output available is virtually the same at $30 with a 5% off coupon at the time of writing this review. This is a great, compact heater. Obviously it's tube-styled instead of traditional box approach. It provides a nice output of heat and has two heating levels, high and low. Plus, there is a fan option which just moves air. There is a safety switch on the bottom of the base so that if it is knocked over the unit will shut off. It can oscillate or can be locked in one position to really put the heat directly on you. This heater is reasonably quiet. I have a few that are quieter and several that are much louder. I would rank it in the middle but a little closer to the quiet side. I can hear it, but it is not annoyingly loud for me. If I had to identify a weakness in this heater, it would be that the button to oscillate or not is at the back base of the unit and is a little awkward to reach. I really like this little heater. I like its modern look and it puts out a nice amount of heat to quickly warm the area. At this price point, this is my favorite space heater (out of half a dozen).     • Nice small heater
First of all there is no way this thing is heating 200sqft without taking ages and having to have perfect insulation in the room but that really is not what you would want this for. For this tier of product it does what you would want it to really well which is basically personal heating. I dropped it on my desk and pointing directly at me it does a decent job of providing a base level of warmth that you can hold in with proper clothing. What I think makes this one really great compared to similar units I have used is that this one really heats up super quick. 200sqft is a total lie but the 3s heating is probably spot on. Turn the knob to max and you get heat right away which lets me turn it on for a few minutes just to warm up a bit then turn it off again. Most units take a few minutes at least to start warming where this one is already done its job. One star off is for the ridiculous claims of area heating when even 2-3 ft away from the unit and it isn't working as well, you can even see the heat rising away. Still works pretty well if you have realistic expectations. ... show more
