This is my first electric scooter and I am pretty impressed. I like how you can connect the scooter to the app and view data such ad battery life and the amount of time the scooter was used. You can also use the app the lock the scooter, set scooter speed, and turn on the lights among other things. The scooter goes a decent speed on flat areas ( I am around 175 pounds). I wish it had more power to go up steeper hills (not really built for that). I love how it has headlights and brake lights that automatically come on in dark places. You can also turn them on via the app or the button on the screen of the scooter. You can view measurements in MPH or kilometers per hour on the screen of the scooter. The break lights blink when you press on the break handle. The scooter does a good job of breaking. It does take hours to charge. This is a great gift idea for teenager or adults with a nice price tag. I do recommend wearing a helmet while using this scooter or any other motorized vehicle. ... show more

I have an electric scooter but the misses does not. The Megawheels scooter is fun. It was easy to assemble. The deck is a bit small for me (6'1", 225lbs), but its ok for the misses (4'11" 100lbs). I would recommend it for bigger folk, but for kids and smaller adults I think it is good. The listing says 15.5mph, but I couldn't get it up quite that fast. It folds nicely, as most scooters do, so you can carry it in the trunk. There's an app that it wants you to download, but it isn't required. Overall though, its a fun scooter. ... show more

This is my fourth electric scooter, but my first to be waterproof rated to IPX5. However, I am very skeptical of this claim, you can see from my photos that the handlebar is open to the elements (not the case with any of my other scooters) and water can easily get into the internal mechanism. The charging port is also in a vulnerable location with nothing but a flimsy silicone cover to protect it. This MegaWheelz scooter is supposed to go up to 15 mph with a 300 watt motor. But the max we could get it to go yesterday was 9 mph (on the "high" setting) and by afternoon (which meant that it'd been parked in the cold around 20 F) it could only go about 4mph. It is also HEAVY! At 40 lbs, it is very heavy for an electric scooter. My Ninebot, for example, is my lightest one at 25 lbs. My others are in the 30 lb range. Finally, the charging is SLOW! And it keeps shutting off. I left it plugged in for over a couple hours and when I went to check on it, it hadn't charged at all. I am trying again and keeping a closer eye on it, but after an hour, I see no progress. STAY AWAY! ... show more

This seems to be very nice. Even has an app, not necessary though. It runs smooth. Struggles on grass if you are on the heavier end of the weight limit. But it is quick on cement! It’s a good size, I’m 5’10” and it is very comfortable. The foot area is a little small but it is doable for what we want it for. Plus my son will be able to do it soon. Easy to put together. Battery life could be a bit better but overall happy with it. ... show more
