Loving this scooter, can’t wait to use it when we go camping! It is heavy duty and built great! Safety was a priority for sure! It’s so easy to put together and get it set up and ready to use! Has a headlight that defaults on but can be turned off. Has a tail light and brake light! Had a bell. Immediately when powering it on, the battery life is displayed and then the speed display defaults. There are settings to adjust the top speed it can go. This is my first electric scooter and I am pretty impressed. I like how you can connect the scooter to the app and view data such ad battery life and the amount of time the scooter was used. You can also use the app the lock the scooter, set scooter speed, and turn on the lights among other things. The scooter goes a decent speed on flat areas ( I am around 175 pounds). I wish it had more power to go up steeper hills (not really built for that). I love how it has headlights and brake lights that automatically come on in dark places. You can also turn them on via the app or the button on the screen of the scooter. You can view measurements in MPH or kilometers per hour on the screen of the scooter. The break lights blink when you press on the break handle. The scooter does a good job of breaking. It does take hours to charge. This is a great gift idea for teenager or adults with a nice price tag. I do recommend wearing a helmet while using this scooter or any other motorized vehicle. ... show more

Was very easy to assemble out of the box, just 6 screws and it was good to go. Interface with the one button is a little touchy but easy enough to use. The scooter has a solid build and quality components. As far as the actual ride, the power is definitely lacking. If you are not on a paved surface it will not run, and struggles up hills. Top speed is around 14mph on level ground. Range is about advertised in best case scenario, which limits you a little bit in how far from home you can go. This was my first experience with an electric scooter, and it's been fun so far! The scooter itself arrived in a large and fairly heavy box. There were a couple of large-ish holes and gouges in the box, but everything was protected so well in the box that it didn't have any impact on the scooter at all. The scooter was pretty easy to put together (unfold the handle, put the handlebars into the handle, and then screw six screws in). I charged it before using it. You can download an app to go with it, but the app had very poor reviews, and the app maker name was all in Chinese, which I couldn't read. But, I was able to use the scooter no problem without the app. You have to give it a little push and get it to go 2-3 miles per hour before you can use the accelerator on the handle, which works fine. I tried it in the living room a few times just to go a few feet, and that worked fine. The next day, I went around the block with it, which is about 2.2 miles. Here is what I have found out so far while using the scooter: -On the medium speed setting, the highest speed to which it will give you an electric assist is 9 mph. You can go higher than that by going down hills or pushing manually against the ground with your foot, but the scooter itself won't help you go past 9 mph on the medium speed setting. -It does have some trouble going up steep hills, at least on the medium setting. We have several VERY steep hills in our neighborhood, and it struggled a little with those. It would start slowing down enough that the scooter got a little wobbly and I had to put my foot down. But, I found that if I gave an extra push against the ground with my foot while going uphill, that really helped. -After going over two miles (including up several steep hills), I was down only one bar on battery power (so, four bars remaining). I think the claim that you can go about 13 miles with this is probably about right, especially if you're mainly traveling on flat (non-hilly) surfaces. -I couldn't remember how to switch between low, medium, and high speeds while on my test drive, so I used only the medium speed. But when I returned home, I read the manual again and was reminded that it's just a quick "double press" of the power button to switch speeds. I will test the other two speeds the next time I'm able to try the scooter. -The scooter is not as shock-absorbent as I'd like. I definitely felt bumps in the road, but it seems like the front wheel is cushioned better, so when I shifted my weight towards the front of the scooter, it seemed less bumpy. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this scooter. As I said, it's my first experience with an electric scooter, and it's been fun so far. I'm happy that the scooter is completely usable without the app (which means you can choose whether to use the app or not). I'd say this is a solid contender if you're looking for a nice, simple-to-use electric scooter. ... show more
