I needed a stapler for a project covering stool seats. The N6013 looked good for this short time project and will probably sit on the shelf after I'm done. If I was purchasing for heavier use I would spend double and get a well known brand. Good thing is this uses fairly common T-50 staples and drives them flush into standard plywood. The power knob works as expected and I suggest several test fires to find the right spot. Downside is the trigger. In the photo I have indicated a spot on the trigger that activates the firing, it will not fire using the other areas on the trigger, you will feel a definite snap/click when pulling the trigger. This design requires a little more force to activate, no leverage is applied. Another thing to consider is power consumption, this product is rated at 11 amps, (about 1300 watts). When it fires you may notice the lights dim. They don't recommend an extension cord so the original cord (about 6.5 ft) is tough to live with. I use a 12 gauge extension cord, which I already own, and rated for 20 amps. If I was making this purchase again, the power use (11a) would be something I would examine. I have no experience with electric staplers so it is possible this is common among the products available. I found the loading to be simple for staples. Using brads requires a specific method per the instructions. I haven't used this stapler for brads. Project is getting started, if any problems I will update the review. The N6013 is so far good enough for me and my limited use. A week later: Using the tool for about 20 staples I went back to my hand held. Why: Using on bar stool upholstery, the gun required either two hands or a heavy one arm hold to get the staple driven in completely. Two hands is a deal breaker, and the heavy pressure was more work than the manual stapler. As I mentioned above about the trigger, it really showed when I finally got into the job. It required exact placement of my finger so close to the frame I was getting a light pinch. Update: I have upgraded 1 star. The company Spartatool/ Neu Master reached out to me and offered a refund, and a review of this model by their QC people. The customer satisfaction effort is worth the extra star.     • Powerful and easy to use
I purchased to replace the vinyl on 2 jetski seats. The stapler drove nearly 700 3/8 staples within 2 hours of coming out of the box. The hard plastic seat base was a good test of this staplers power and it held up well. It was a little picky about having the stapler pressed firmly against the material, a nice safety feature, but the convenience of just squeezing the trigger to drive the screw was really nice. For a hobbiest this stapler is great, probably not intended for heavy daily use but definitely a good value. ... show more

A good nail gun for the price. I couldn't set the deepness depth of the nail that I would've liked. (Finished with a regular hammer.) But a good gun for the price. It did the job nicely.

    • Solid Tool, But Staples Are Challenging To Insert
This power stapler does the job but the actual insertion of the staples is challenging and far from perfect. Even so, if you take the time, read the directions, and use the power stapler cautiously, it’s a good tool.
