  • A great flying ducted fan.
This is a relatively easy ducted fan to fly. Yes it is fast so it isn't for novice flyers but for sure intermediate or above flyers will find it easy to handle. To land it properly you need to be a throttle jockey as you have to constantly run the throttles to control landing approach and attitude. However, throttle control on landing is a skill anyone needs to handle higher performance models and especially ducted fans. I usually build everything from scratch but this little ARF is a blast. considering buying the larger Eflite A-10 based on the handling properties of this A-10. ... show more

  • AMAZING fun little plane, maybe not for beginners
I LOVE this plane, it’s small, has great maneuverability, looks beautiful, and is very powerful for its size (around 70mph), some things like high alphas are difficult but scale maneuvers and beyond scale maneuvers are a breeze and the plane looks excellent while doing so. **BUT THIS IS NOT A FIRST PLANE** First of all this listing of this plane is BNF Basic (Bind And Fly) which means you still need a battery, charger, and transmitter, which is pricey. Secondly this plane is not easy to land, its stall characteristics are pretty brutal at times and without a decent sized runways slowing down enough without stalling can be difficult, and if you try and hand launch it without a second person sometime a wingtip will stall and dip that side into the ground pretty nastily and without both hands it’s can be almost impossible to recover from. Also if you do get into a crash it will likely be pretty nasty because this plane is not very durable. The nose is quite weak but most of the time it’s nothing a little glue and tape can’t fix. The big one though is the steerable nose wheel likes to come loose of the foam and break and that is a pain to fix (some hot glue in the hole should fix it). Lastly if you do pick up this wonderful warbird get the Asurion protection plan that is offered with it because no matter now experienced of a pilot you are, if you are flying this plane regularly you will probably crash it (or have a rough landing) and having the peace of mind that it reallly doesn't matter if you crash it is great. ... show more

  • Looks Great! Built great?
This A-10 needed manual fine tuning of rudder and elevator. Its very cool looking but the foam can't take a slight bump or knock. On the last flight the elevator locked itself in up and the plane flew straight up and then almost straight down. Im giving it 4 stars because Im a 30 year rc pilot and know these speed controllers from China can come bad or go glitchy. Gonna try one more though because when it does fly normally it is a dream! ... show more

  • Good first edf.
This plane flies really well. Its got tons of power on 3s Safe mode us great for edf newbies. But this is not a good first plane. Its a great entry into edf once your an established low wing pilot.

  • Wasted $200, landing gear is flimsy, the body is fragile but engine power is good
This was my 15yr old son’s first rc plane and I wouldn’t buy it again. Started with the accessories needed. they recommend using it with horizon hobby proprietary connections. We didn’t know enough to not. But it adds up. Expect an additional $200 on top of the plane. The landing gear didn’t work right from day one, which caused us a huge problem, as it couldn’t go in a straight line. We launched it into the air to get it going and then he had to hit the power to the engines which then resulted in it taking off very fast and straight into a tree. This is partly the result of us being unable to ease our way into understanding how it worked through the throttling and takeoff process. The canopy flew off mid flight and flying into thr tree destroyed the tail. We are working on the repair but it’s a major disappointment for a $400 investment. Look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Great flyer!
Super stable even in the wind. Flys like a big plane.

  • Edf fun
Love this plane. Been flying for about 10 yrs and this is great because it’s somewhat cheap, very very portable, and easy to transport in its box. If you get it and you’re new to EDF flying, make sure to watch some videos and look at the landing slope. The landing gear is a tiny wire, but so far after about 40 flights they’re still holding up keep your speed up and flare a tiny bit at the last second and you’ll be all good. Enjoy. ... show more

  • Disconnects from the transmitter
This was a Christmas gift for my dad. On its maiden flight, it disconnected from the transmitter which caused a catastrophic crash. My dad bought another one and on it’s maiden and proceeding flights, it disconnected from the transmitter again. First time, plane came down with no damage. Second time, not so lucky. Two planes. Three disconnects. Three crashes. Two destroyed planes. I’m going to attempt to return this, even though a crash voids the warranty. However, the crashes were the direct result of poor manufacturing. Updating review from 1 star to 3 since we were able to get a replacement. ... show more
