We were really disappointed with how we got this fireplace. It was cracked and the top mantle crushed.. The e-fireplace itself does not fit well within the structure. We called customer service for replacement we got it today 10-4 and we unpacked it and sure enough that was broken and cracked.. The packaging did not appear damaged in anyway.. We called customer service again and they are both being picked up.. My advice to everyone is cut the front open and inspect it carefully before you tear into it and remove all the packaging.. You will never get it packed in its original packaging. Chances are it's cracked the product is made with fiberglass and faux rock that is brittle.. The packaging in my opinion is not enough. UPS delivered it both times.. It needs to be built better and packaged better too.. Hope this helps.. ... show more

We liked the product was disappointed that it was broken. Called Nikki with customer service and she handled the situation very pleasant. She seemed like she really cared about the problem. Return was set up and we are very happy with the replacement.

This is a fantastic fireplace! It came in a huge box. The box had a ton of holes in it and I thought for sure that it would be damaged but they pack it with a second layer inside that protected it very nicely. Opened the box, put some felt on the bottom to be able to move it without damaging the floors, tipped it up, plugged it into my alexa plug, connected it to my alexa app and said Alexa turn on my fireplace...it came on and it's absolutely beautiful. The only thing I wish it had was the crackling fire noise. It's just the look without the sound. Luckily alexa can do fire sounds too lol. I love it. So worth the money! My neighbors saw ours and now are getting one as well. 5*! ... show more

Liked the remote, but as soon as I opened box this is what I saw. I couldn’t repair this if I tried. I’ve always been able to have them pick it up at my home. They are expecting me to lift this and drop it off at ups. No way I can. I had to have neighbors come help me bring it in. Would love to have one. I will be calling company!! Worst experience ever. 3 days later Jenna from Northbay to very good care of my situation. EFlame Northbay are wonderful and have beautiful fireplaces that look real. This fireplace unit would be great if more care were applied in it's assembly. The heater unit is a good one, and the simulated brick and wood resin and fiber casting is a great design and looks great. But the great stops there. In this price range, the assembly of the two coupled together, should fit very well and not require modification for the buyer to make it work and look good . It has the potential to be great, but ....... ... show more

    • Instant fire place with great rustic look!

The piece is already assembled, you just slide it out of the box and plug it in. No contractor needed. No mess. Looks great, exactly as shown on picture. Ideally I think it should cost less, but given the massive size , ( mine is 40x 48 I think, the largest option) I understand that it cost more to ship from factory to warehouse and to consumer. (this cost is build in to the price you pay). Just consider how much you want a fire place, compare the cost of building one versus instant. Although I like natural log burning fire place, this will do for ambiance. No clean up needed. ... show more

    • This fireplace is both beautiful and quite sturdy.

We have this fireplace on our new exterior covered patio. It fits perfectly and adds a nice ambiance. The ONLY thing we are having difficulty with is trying to figure out how to turn off the flashing red light on the on/off switch. It is annoying. Other than that, we are happy with our investment.
