The media could not be loaded. Works great looks good. Could use more colors. It's going to be on the higher end (in price) but it looks and fits best in smaller areas like bathroom, campers, or other smaller rooms. The metal case design is one of the best for this size electric fireplace heater. The flame looks just like the video and pictures attached. Expensive but one of the better models available in this size, that I've seen so far. Best for 50-200 sq ft rooms. Larger living rooms and bedrooms can be too much air for the heater to move. If you are just looking for the light and something to sit in front of then it's still a good option for a bedroom. I have an old coal fireplace that is only 19" wide and this fit perfectly in the opening side to side. I did have to make a wood base for height and painted it black so it blends right in. Haven't had a need to use it yet, but it looks like an original piece. Only concern is that there was no manual included. Tried scanning the code, but that only showed how to assemble the fireplace, which I didn't buy. ... show more

My mom bought a plug in fireplace years ago and the electric unit started to get too old to function and replacing the insert seemed like the best and most cost effective solution and it worked perfectly. The insert fit in perfectly. Not to mention that little heater was something she was really getting used to. This entire unit just slipped right in place of the old unit. Instillation took about 5 minutes. This one is about 1/3 of the thickness of the old one and 2 times as powerful. We have an 1800s home with coal burning fireplaces that we never updated and thus were not useable. We looked at updating them, but that was many thousands of dollars with no guarantee that they would function. I searched for fireplace inserts that would work with them, but coal fireplaces are very small (16X24x7). I am so excited to have found this insert. Unpacked it, placed it in the fireplace, plugged it in, and that was it! Beautiful. The heat is awesome, and I love having a remote control to operate it from my bed. Absolutely love it. I chose this one because it vents "down" and not "out" - it is opposite my bed in a camper trailer. The flame effect is so soothing and the heat is cozy. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
