  • Zone Triggers are negative polarity
Trial and error hooking up to Viper 3100, ending up using negative polarity on Viper to trigger immediately. Set sensors to maximum gain. Alarm triggered easily to any, in cabin, movement, however external only triggered to movement directly at closed, medium tinted, window surface, which is fine for my purpose. Sensor was mounted to lower left of instrument panel on 1986 El Camino and would have believed external sensing to be of longer distance due to unobstructed placement even when located level to lower door window level. I'm satisfied that it won't be nuisance triggered by passing individuals, cars, or rainfall. It's been working with no false triggers for 1 week to date. Fingers crossed for continuing 🙏 ... show more

  • works
I bought this microwave proximity sensor and test it. I am using one outside my car zone. Sensor produce 0 volts as a signal and when idle about 0.25v. Sensitivity is adjustable and price is right. Sensor works when person moves to or from car.
