Description

The Spitfire Scout LT transportable scooter combines easy and convenient mobility with superior value. The Spitfire Scout LT is compact, lightweight and easy to disassemble-perfect for taking wherever you want to go, either around the neighborhood or far from home. It can be disassembled quickly and easily into five easy-to-handle pieces for loading into a car, truck, or van and taking shopping or on vacation. Designed for smooth, man-made surfaces including tile, carpet, asphalt and unbroken cement. The Scout also offers great features like a quick connect battery pack and a delta-style tiller to make operating the scooter easier for those with limited strength or dexterity. This model comes with color-through panels to hide scuffs and scratches and black wheel rims. The Scout is rated by the manufacturer at 300 lbs. But to ensure best performance, no scooter should be loaded beyond 85% of the manufacturer’s capacity. So, for the Scout, that would be 255 lbs.

  • Comfortable, lightweight, long battery range, easy to maneuver - love it!
I bought it at the end of May, but only had my first opportunity to use it yesterday (early July). I was first impressed by how little space it takes up. It loads in the back of our minivan with no disassembly at all, but if I want to put it in the trunk of my car, I can lift the seat off, fold down the steering arm and there is still plenty of room in the trunk. It will even fit in the trunk of my wife's Mustang! It's light enough for me to lift by myself if necessary (though it is much easier if one person grabs the front and another the rear). The first thing I did when I received it was to charge the battery. Then it sat for a month and a half before using it. Last night we took it to the Boardwalk in Daytona Beach and I drove it around there for a good 3 hours. The meter still shows a full charge! It's very comfortable to ride and I like how the seat swivels so I can get to a table somewhere and stay seated on it instead of having to find somewhere to put it. Then the seat locks back straight to ride it. It maneuvers tight spaces very well and it has a low center of gravity. One section of our route had a pretty steep incline, leaning the scooter pretty sharply to the left, but it gave no sign of tipping over. So far, this has been money well spent! ... show more

This is an excellent scooter for getting around, recent MS diagnosis patient absolutely loves how this scooter works out for her, the battery life is awesome (get the bigger battery) and a 5 year warranty comes with this scooter including the battery is covered! it has made a huge difference in her life, it's easy to take apart and put in the trunk of our car, I have no problem lifting it up (66 yoa) it allows her to feel more confident going out without the fear of falling down or tiring quickly and avoiding going anywhere because of her disability, we bought the basket for the rear and she now travels around with her little Shitzu all over the place, this has been a great purchase, this company is dedicated to a customers needs, the shipping was fast and well packed, thank you again for such a great asset to a handicapped individual, it sure does make life more enjoyable. ... show more

  • Great scooter to purchase!
Ive had this scooter for about 2 weeks now. So far it is great! Little bumpy on cement sidewalks but not bad I got a gel cushion for the seat and it made a great difference. Went to a flea market that was all pea gravel it did an awesome job getting thru it even with my weight. Up hills it did great too. Also it came with a broken battery case handle , I messaged the company and sent pictures of it still in the box. Well they responded immediately, said the case was on back order till December so they are sending me a whole new case and battery so I didn’t have to wait, Then I got only the batteries not the case, I called the company this time and they apologized for the mix up , and again sent me new case with battery this time it was right got the new case with th batteries not the 20ah that I ordered with the scooter but the 12ah . But that’s ok bc the second batteries they sent were the 20ah so I’m happy with it. They are an amazing company very polite and helpful. Only thing is now the scooter keeps beeping I’m trying to figure out why, I shut it off and it stops but starts up again in a few minutes. Starts when it loses 2 lights on the power control. I still have plenty of charge left so I don’t know why it’s been beeping. Other then that it’s a great scooter. ... show more

  • Amazing company!! Fabulous scooter!!
Wow! Vidacura is the place to purchase your scooter!!!! Quick delivery (even with Hurricane Florence weather!), customer service, and making good on a broken part! BEST customer service!!!!! Love the scooter! Easy to assemble, easy to use! Super comfy seat, too!!! Headlight is very nice and bright, horn is a little wimpy but I guess they don't want you to have an air horn type (might scare people!!) but it will get the job done :) Very impressed with this scooter abd would definitely recommend it for someone who travels a lot! The only con we have found (so many pros!!) is that the turning radius takes some getting used to (took a few times to "get" it). Definitely not a car but I guess that's the difference between them and scooters. ... show more

  • Tuff, well built little rascal!
I originally bought this for my wife because I was over the recommended weight on this scooter. When I set it up and rode it, it pulled me with absolutely no problem. I went on vacation and rode this all over the docks of Norfolk Virginia and all over downtown and it did great! Had no problem carrying me and the battery life lasted and was strong the entire time. I'm not recommending that anyone exceed the recommended weight on this, but if anything, this little scooters power is under rated in my opinion. I am going to be purchasing another one for my wife since both of us are disabled and have trouble with walking and with mobility. It's a great product! A very well built scooter at a fantastic price!! ... show more

  • Decent for the price but the battery does not last and the company sucks!
Seller will not stand behind the battery not charging and will make you ship it back (your cost) so they can assess the problem? Battery lasted less than 9 months with indoor use and the over all customer service sucks. They say they will call you and then they email days later. 5 year my A$$! Buyer beware! Additionally Amazon wont do anything to intervene other than tell the seller to work with the customer as to the norm and thats a waste of time. You have been warned. ... show more

  • very easy to operate
I cannot walk or do anything without a walker (knee). I find myself in front of a TV all day and I needed something to get away, so I thought I would try a scooter. Just getting out of the house twice a day has done wonders for me. With my scooter I'm all over the neighborhood getting the fresh air I need. I've had the scooter for a week now and am extremely happy with it. Just one thing I would ask for is a little better suspension. It gives you a very rough ride, you can feel every little bump in the road, even on side walks you can feel every crack.. But so far I love it, I can put up with the trivials. Did I mention that I'm 80 years young?? ... show more
