I’ve been struggling with neck pain for years, and this pillow has been an absolute game-changer! I thought I do everything - yoga, workout, stretching, but something still hurt me. Oooh, that was a wrong pillow! I’m so happy I found a perfect and so pretty DONAMA! It provides an excellent support for all sleeping positions, whether I’m on my back, side, or even stomach :)) The memory foam is firm yet comfortable, molding perfectly to my neck and shoulders without losing shape! What impressed me most is the thoughtful design—the contours and the central hole cradle my head perfectly, promoting better alignment and reducing stiffness. I ordered this pillow when it was on a sale because of great reviews I had seen for people with neck trouble. I don’t have normal curvature in my neck so thought it might be nice. I tried it for a while. It did feel nice and supportive for my neck when I would first lie down. It feels like it’s probably better for your neck and spine than traditional pillows. That being said, I couldn’t adjust to it. I sleep with two pillows stacked that are kind of on the full side. I just couldn’t make the switch even though it feels nice initially. My husband has actually taken it over and does really like it. Downside, it’s not going to look normal on a made up bed. The fabric does snag. The price on sale seemed worth it to me. ... show more

Perhaps its the years of relentless labor, improper movement or the burden of everyday life-stress that has left me sleeping lighter, tighter and waking to neck and back soreness.. Ive been going between pillows for years trying to alleviate this, but have done so with no real impact to speak of. (aside from wasted money thrown at every, " miracle", pillow on the market.). So its with genuine pleasure and a neck that can actually turn 90 ° in both directions that I recommend the Donama cervical pillow. It's smartly shaped and firm enough to be gently accommodating without feeling stiff or too taut, and the versatility of its design makes it easy to sleep on my sides or back, which is a privilege I've been too long without! Other pillows I've tried with a similar design have either been too thick ( sharp neck pain in the am), or a bit on the thin side ( no effect) so it's just another plus that this one manages to hit that middle ground sweet spot. I could go on about the impressive quality, intelligent design and surprising versatility, but that would leave less time to do what I've been waiting far to many years to do again - sleep in painless comfort without fear of crippling stiffness! ... show more

    • Comfortable, Supportive, and Delivering Painless Sleep!

After years of pained and irregular sleep, and purchasing many “neck support pillows” (which promised to deliver the cervical support AND comfort needed for restful sleep, yet failed to work for me), I took my physical therapist’s advice and purchased the Donama Cervical Pillow. Initially doubtful, I gave it a shot. The first week I’ll admit to disappointment: I was tossing and turning worse than before, destroying the bed as I struggled to find a position that worked, and waking up in pain while feeling exhausted. My PT encouraged me to keep using the pillow, saying it would take time for my neck and shoulders to adapt. She was right. By the middle of the second week of use I was sleeping better. And by the end of the third week, I was waking with no pain - and I was actually awake, not groggy! For the first time since surviving an accident that severely damaged my neck and upper back, I am getting the best sleep - better than I ever thought possible. Not only can I sleep on my back, the pillow provides support for side-sleeping, too. I’m grateful that Donama created this pillow - and that my PT recommended it; now I’m recommending it to others.
