  • Great Entry Level Mechanical Keyboard
Size: Brown Switch
Bought this for my office, and it certainly does not disappoint. If you don't have a mechanical keyboard, this is an amazing option for the price, and if you already have one, but need another for an office or something, this is a great budget option to save you from loathing your typing experience. pros: Basically a full sized layout, but not absolutely massive - good for saving space on a desk but maintaining full functionality. Keycaps are doubleshot - if you don't know, this means that the legends are printed from a separate injection of plastic - they will never wear away. This is typically something seen on boards that garner a much higher price. Chassis is decently weighted, and feels very sturdy - no need to worry about it breaking if you drop it by accident(or slam it in a fit of rage). Stabilizers come pre-lubed and are very tight feeling - if you know, you know. Big keys like the shift keys, backspace, and space-bar have stabilizers on them that on many cheap boards have an annoying rattle that can distract from key feel. This board is setup the right way with lubed stabilizers, so all of the larger keys feel tight and thocky. Nice. Aesthetics are pretty good - this keyboard doesn't scream "I'm a gamer NEET," and I appreciate that because I'm using this in an office setting. The font choice for the keycaps isn't ridiculous looking, and the color choice is good, even if a bit too modern. LED settings can be changed from the board - this is a nice feature because oftentimes proprietary keyboard software is bloated, and potentially untrustworthy since many of these products are made in China. It is always a plus to have onboard LED customizability options. Classic three switch choice - red(linear), brown(arguably tactile), and blue(clicky and probably obnoxious). I deliberately chose my least favorite of these three (brown), because it's a little stiffer than red switches which I find to be too light for typing, and less obnoxiously loud than blue switches, which might annoy others in my office. Despite this board having my least favorite of the three, I still really like it - a testament to its build quality and features. Seriously though if you want to try actual tactile switches, stay away from mx type switches, they just don't deliver on tactility. Cons(none of these are deal breakers in the slightest): Stands a bit too tall for my liking - even with the angled feet out, the chassis sits pretty tall, so it'll take some adjusting if you're used to a shorter board. Not hot-swappable - for this price, you can't reasonably expect to be able to hot-swap switches, and I'm glad that they prioritized putting their money into other aspects of the keyboard such as the keycaps and stabilizers, but it's always nice to have the ability to hot-swap switches. LEDs don't really serve a purpose - since the keycaps are doubleshot with an opaque color for the legends, the light doesn't shine through, so it feels kind of unnecessary to have a backlight at all. Also, while you can make key backlight just flatly on, you can't do the same for the sidebar - I find LED breathing effects pretty distracting, but this is nitpicking admittedly. ... show more

  • Too Good To Pass Up!
My expectations were too low, that this keyboard is far above other competing brands! Amazing RGB, nicest typing feel (w/ Yellow Switches), and overall top notch quality! I bought this item at an amazing low $30, and the base price itself is still generous compared to what deals and brands I've purchased before. My collection of keyboards are from popular brands with similar products and so far, Kemove made one of their 60% keyboards not only better, but cheaper by comparison. It's my main highlight from this bargain as it hits all a keyboard enthusiasts expectations from typing feel, weight, and quality. Smooth (Yellow) switches, low stem wobble, soft and thocky typing experience! Great for gaming, or just typing away from typing tests. Even if it's hot-swappable, I think the switches I chose work too well to remove in the first place. That said, switching switches and keycaps are basically the best you need to alternate sound preferences, as the casing and plates are sturdy enough to not resonate high ping-y sounds or hollow-like typing. I have basically nothing negative to say as this Kemove Snowfox is too good to pass up! I love compact 60% keyboards for about anything, and if you do as well, I can't recommend this enough. If I had the chance, I would trade my other same size keyboards for this replacement. ... show more

  • Pleasantly Suprised!
Size: Red Switch
Wasn't expecting much for what I paid. BUT this keyboard is of great quality, heavy with a sturdy feel. I like the more compact feel of the keyboard too. I live and die by the number pad at work. The spacing at the 0 and the arrow key took a little getting use to, that's pretty much my only "complaint", but again, I got use to it. Anyway I bought this for work originally. I like it so much that I'm going to replace my higher end corsair gaming keyboard with this. No more sliding around and more space! Ps, my cowrokers live me because of the sound! ... show more
