The media could not be loaded. Safeguarding has always been a priority for me, so I was looking for a fireproof / waterproof solution for my home, considering I was used to hide documents and cash in different places. Therefore, I purchased the Diosmio 0.8 ft3 safe box. It’s very easy to install the control panel’s batteries and establish a new lock code. As you can watch on the attached video, the safe box’s structure is very solid and the door bolts are very professional as well. Further, its capacity is very convenient to store my most important things. Just what I was looking for! Also, I liked that a black zipper bag was provided, which I used to put in our passports and other important IDs that my family doesn’t carry often.     • A good safe for home use
So I looked at several safes - wanted one that was fireproof for home - read MANY reviews on many safes and always walked away scratching my head - was the product I just read about good - was it bad? What gives? Some reviewers had no problems with what they purchased. Some said products were worthless. So I was totally confused after all this. Well, I decide to go with this safe for two reasons - weight (approx 20 lbs), and the access was such if the code didn't work, I could use a key. I read about people struggling to get their code entered. I read about some who wondered about the length of time the material in the safe was prodected in case of fire. I read about some who said the product appeared to be cheap. I found all of those things not to be of concern about this safe. My safe arrived nicely packaged - I unboxed it - read the instructions- and within 10 minutes my safe was in its place and fully operational. The code I chose was super easy to enter. The emergency keys are stowed away in case I need them, and my documents are now protected. If you are looking for a home safe (and folks, this isn't Fort Knox but it's a nice safe for home use), that can be bolted to wall or floor (I did neither), and offers protection for valuable documents, passports, guns, money, jewels - I think this will meet your needs. I have gotten to the point where I don't put a lot of credence into reviews, but I hope this review gives you some insight into the product, qualtiy, ease of setup and operation, and peace of mind it provides. ... show more

The safe arrived with no damage or scratches. The door fit was straight and solid, keys provided worked well with no hang-ups, easily accessing the interior. Insertion of the required batteries was simple and notice beep of activation immediate. Programming the new security code was flawless, up to 8 digits. press ing "0" twice then the reset on the door. Enter the desired code and press #. Two beeps verifies the new code is set. Secured to floor or wall using the supplied hardware is advisable, as the box is fairly light and easily carried. The shelf in mine currently holds over 60 lbs and at least 2x that in the bottom section, and secured to the wall. ... show more

I decided to invest in a small safe to keep important documents, some cash and valuables quickly accessible. This basic, affordable safe is absolutely perfect! I love the extra little lock box it comes with too; just a little added security for something extra special. The safe is solid and heavy with an extremely thick and strong door. The quality is terrific for the price. Very easy to use with minimal, basic programming needed (this was important for me) also the instructions were very simplified and easy to understand. The 60 second alarm deep definitely a nice feature and one of the reasons I chose this model. As far as the box goes; it’s a basic safe, grain finished metal and From the looks of it I believe it will withstand heat. Overall, I extremely pleased with this purchase!
