I decided to purchase this fireplace one year ago from this seller and thought it was a great buy because the seller included the additional media for free. The fireplace arrived with a plug attached and wiring pre-installed and assembled. . After one year, sadly my fireplace is broken due to a burned internal wire. DimPlex warranty is refusing to repair because these fireplaces typically come hardwired and the plug has to be added on. looks beautiful however the heater quit working and whole unit shuts off . Just got it professionally installed in new home May 2022. I hope I can find someone to fix it . I am looking for a possible warranty and contacting dimplex now. I will update this review when anything changes
