Update: after speaking with their customer service, I was sent a new unit. The new car works flawlessly. The speed is perfect for indoors and I haven’t had an issue yet. The car feels like it is built well and has a replaceable shell. I was super excited to get this RC car because of the size and speed. It would be perfect…. If it worked. I received it on Thursday and the remote didn’t work. I changed the batteries and it failed again. It will connect for about 15 seconds and then loses connection. I do not recommend this RC car. Did not work out of box = Spend your money on one that actually functions... Did not return, they know they are selling junk and I hope they feel bad one day when they realize what they are doing to the disappointed children that receive a faulty toy.....

This is a pretty cool little car, fast and fun, but you have to keep in mind this car is designed for little kids... Children who are older than 5 years old but younger than 12-13 years old. The car is pretty fast for what it is, the whole body lights up, and it's fun to play around with. Even though the RC is 2.4 GHZ Unfortunately the controls are not fully proportional so this vehicle will not have precise movements, it's full throttle no matter what direction you point. Also the controller is not that great, they could have done better on the controller. According to the listing this car is supposed to be 24th scale, and it may be but it seems small for 24th scale. But overall this toy is pretty cool and fun for younger audience. Each model comes in two different colors and they have three different models. I received two different models and other than bodies they were identical. The battery compartments of the vehicle and the controller come with screws so that you can scre the doors shut, keeping them safe for children to play with and you have the knowledge they are bit going to get hurt messing with the batteries. The vehicles comes with additional accessories, a small screwdriver to help you access the battery compartments, one of the batteries is stored in the vehicles battery holder right out of the box. A second battery is in the accessories bag which is nice, they give you two batteries right out of the gate. And then you get a usb charging cable to charge the batteries with. AA batteries are not included, which you will need 2 for the controller. Overall though the RC are pretty cool and pretty fun if you keep in mind they are for a much younger audience. And probably worth giving them a try if you know of a young child who might be interested in slowly joining the RC hobby. ... show more

There were issues with the battery being lose, but fixed that, and the remote is finally working. When it’s running properly, the kids love it, and most of the time, they get between 20 to 40 minutes play, depending of how intensely they play, as they play with multiple cars at the same time.
