Sifely has gone out of their way to make the installation as easy as possible. Everything is carefully planned and thought out. I think this bodes well for the integrity of the product. The picture shows how they provided a bag of screws labeled for each step of the installation. Who does this?! Well done. But if you aren't impressed by that, maybe the extra bag of screws marked spares will impress you, it did me. One extra of every screw. The functionality of the product reflects the thoughtfulness of the installation. I am a non business home owner who bought this because I didn't want to carry a key around with me to unlock a door and didn't want to hide a key. The fingerprint integrated into the handle is so clever. The same motion as before, grab the handle an turn opens my door. I have a passcode to back that up and a key card to back that up too. The key card is thin and smaller than a credit card and hides easily in my phone case or wallet which I always have with me. You don't need to take it out, just hold you wallet up to the keypad and it opens the door. The app is very intuitive and easy to use. I also got the Gateway so I can check on the status of my lock while I am away and even let people in. One note on the Gateway G2. It has the gateway and USB cable and that's it. You will need a USB power source, it does not come with one. My only other minor critique as a replacement for a home door handle, it does not provide a way on the inside to manually activate the lock without going outside and activating it from the keypad. BUT, you can lock it from your app or have the door always lock behind you on a pre programmed timer after you enter. There is so much flexibility with the product, you are almost certain to find a configuration that will work for your lifestyle. Being the Very First Digital Lock that I have ever installed, the Sifely took about 30 - 40 minutes from Start to Finish. All directions were clear and easy to follow. My 85 year old Mother loves how it is setup to Auto-Lock right after the door closes. She really feels secure in her house again. That is what having a Good Lock is all about. I had purchased 2 other digital locks, as they had good reviews abd were Half the Price of this one. After spending about an hour trying to get it installed and programmed... it would not stop Locking and Unlocking... Locking and Unlocking. Over and Over again. Now I understand why their reviews mentions that the batteries died within a day or two. Both Locks had the same issue and Back They Went. I am extremly Happy with the Sifely Locks and want you to know that this Lock is Worth the Difference in Price. You won't be Sorry. ... show more

This lock was perfect for my laundry room door. It was easy to install, easy to sync to the app and I like the variety of ways to use it - key pad, fingerprint reader, back up key and key card. My daughter (10 years old) was able to easily figure it out too. I just ordered 2 more for the other doors in my house. Loving our new door lock… I got it so that my son didn’t have to fiddle around with a key or possibly lose it. I love the fact it has multiple options to open the door… My favorite right now is the fingerprint… While my son loves the fob option… I also love the fact that we can keep track of who’s coming in and out when using codes… Makes it so much easier that we don’t have to leave keys under the mat anymore… That always bothered me, being anyone could just check the mat and have access to our entire life… Install was surprisingly easy and quick… We had it installed in 10 minutes and setup was about 15 minutes because we had several codes and fingerprints to put in… Also, make sure you have batteries on hand… I love the key option as well… It’s a little hidden gem….
