Black and gold give it a high-end feel. Whether it is placed in the living room or bedroom, it has a bit of an industrial feel. The installation process was quite satisfactory. Its 6-speed wind speed adjustment is flexible. The wind feels gentle at low speed, which is suitable for sleeping quietly or turning it on; it is also completely fine for outdoor use in summer. I like its DC motor, which is very quiet. Even if it is turned on to sleep at night, it will not be buzzed. The brightness is moderate and not too glaring, which is enough for daily lighting. Moreover, the light and fan can be controlled separately, which is very good. They do not have to be turned on and off together like some fan lights. Remote APP control is a very practical function. You can adjust the wind speed and turn on and off the lights at any time while lying on the sofa or bed, saving the trouble of finding the lights. However, the APP occasionally has a little delay, and the connection speed is sometimes not particularly stable, which can be optimized later. ... show more

Here we go into the L-shaped library where 1 fan is in one section, and this is in the other L section which needed a fan instead of just a light. The large balcony windows and double doors to the outside, along with the nearly floor to cealing windows on another wall can make this room even in winter hot on even 70 degrees days. Installing this one was as close to the design of the other fan as wel could get without replacing the other one and installing this one. Instead we will stick with this one where there was just a light before and leave the slightly older ceiling fan (not too old though). It has all the features of most ceiling fans today and installation even in a high ceiling was fairly easy to do without killing myself. So life saved, and air cooled! Who could ask for anything more! Excellent P/V (price to value) ratio as well makes this a good buy! Product is well made and solid materials and heavy duty motor is made to last as far as I can tell, and now I have installed a lot of ceiling fans throughout our properties. ... show more

This is a nice black plastic and metal ceiling fan. It comes with different length down rods, directions, and hardware. The blades are large and should last longer than some of the thin pressed wood ones out there. The install is like most fans these days. Our house has electric boxes rated for fans so no issue putting it up. Fairly quiet and moves air well. The remote control works as it should. I really do like this product. The functionality is amazing. It is very easy to install to about 40 minutes. This was my first time installing a fan. The directions were very clear on what to do. The noise level is very low and the brightness of the light is bright I also do like the remote control that it comes with or you can use the app on your phone, which is kind of cool because pretty much everything has an app. Good value for for the money I will buy another one for another room ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I like the design and functionality of the fan. The assembly is very light since the blades are made of plastic and the light is an LED panel. My fan was missing a few screws, which would have led to a failed install, and I couple of the pre installed screws at the collar were loose, so I reduced a star for that. The screws that were missing from my fan were for the cover at the ceiling. It's the last step, so I didn't notice until I had everything installed and just wanted to put the cover in place. Also, there are screws to mount the fan to a ceiling in a new location but not to mount to an existing ceiling box. Luckily I had spare screws for both locations so I was able to complete the installation with little issue. I'm an avid DIYer, but installation is easy using a Phillips-head screwdriver and a step ladder, so I'm sure anyone willing to tackle this project could do it. In the listing, the description says this fan can be mounted on a ceiling with a 12-degree slope, but the written instructions say 15-degrees...I have a 13-degree slope, so I attempted the install and there is plenty of clearance when using the included longer down rod. I was apprehensive about the plastic blades on this fan, but once I saw them in person, they are sturdy, have a slight texture, and will not likely sag like the other fans I've had. The remote works well and allows for a lot of light outputs: Different color temps and dimming. It also controls the fan speed and direction. The app is okay but is a little finicky. I had to cycle the power to the fan after I had the app downloaded to get it connect properly, and the few times I have used the app, it lags a little while it's connecting. ... show more
