For the price of this unit, it's pretty darn good. The motor is quiet and the fixture is stylish. Installed as easily as any other unit. The one thing we don't like is the beep. Flip the switch to turn the light on, it gives you a single beep that is really annoying. In the Q&A section here the seller says it's related to the fan, but it happens regardless of whether the fan is turned on our off, and I've never encountered a light/fan unit that beeps like this just for turning the light on. We loved having the option for a fan and a light option. We loved the look of the unit. However since we received the unit. It has been intermittent. The fan is very finicky. It does not always turn on. You have to turn on and off the light switch to even get the infrared sensor to be recognized by the remote. As for remote, it does not use a typical battery such as AA or AAA. It uses a A23 size. It is a pain when you just want to fix the remote. ... show more

This is a very pretty fan with great lighting. I originally saw it on the Home Depot website but it was out of stock. I searched online and found it on the Amazon website. Sooo worth it! A+++++

Needed a bigger chandelier fan and not much out there. It's look good and works but not really a $180 light. Fan is a bit on the loud side. Needs dimmable ability on remote.
