When my wife decided she wanted a heat press for hobby use I did a lot of research and settled on this one based on the reviews and the price. It works very well. Heard up pretty quickly and maintains heat well. It is very well built and has the right amount of adjustability. It’s a little bit heavy but manageable. This is a great little heat press, far exceeds expectations. - My last heat press was a $2,500 Stahls Hotronix Fusion IQ 16x20. I loved it, but I'm going through a divorce and dividing property hasn't been settled yet. I needed a good heat press for cheap, and I came across this little guy. I didn't expect much, but figured it might get me by until I could either get my Stahls back or afford a better one. I've only owned it about a month, but have pressed maybe 50 garments with it. Each garment has between 4-6 graphics on it, most of which are layered, so anywhere between 4-12 presses required. I have not run into any issues with heat distribution. I used a Stahls 16x20 MAXX press at my last job, and even though Stahls are about the best in the business, I would occasionally have some issues with heat distribution. Some areas wouldn't stick completely. This Delclynee 15x15 press does not have any issues like that whatsoever. It presses evenly, heats up quickly, and I have even left it on for a few hours without having any issues with it. One difference I have noticed is that the top gets VERY hot. On my Stahls, the plate itself would of course get hot, but the casing above the plate would stay relatively cool. It's not really much of an issue because if you're using a heat press, it's best to learn to avoid touching that area anyway. I did purchase a teflon sheet for it just for the rare times that I have to press something twice, because I've had issues with previous heat presses where if you're pressing raw vinyl without transfer tape, it can alter it a bit.. however, I haven't had to use the teflon sheet much at all, and they're pretty cheap anyway (maybe $10-20) so not a big deal. I generally press most garments around 305 degrees F and the temperature always stays within 2 degrees of that. I'm very happy with my purchase especially since I paid under $200 for it. Far exceeds expectations. Would definitely recommend. As I said, I've only had it about a month but I do press lots of garments. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a budget heat press! ... show more

This press is nice and at a great price. Very cost effective when starting a small business. I especially like that it has buttons for setting the time and temperature separately. It beeps when the press is at the proper temperature it's set for. Also beeps when time runs out for each press. Comes with a protective fabric that ties down over the bottom platen and keeps the pad in place. Top platen has "wobble" movement and ensures an even heat press every time. ... show more

Overall this press isn't a bad one. It just wasn't for me, biggest factor being heat distribution varies and yes I do know how to operate a heat press and how to adjust for certain things. The max pressure is only a light medium pressure
