I bought this lock box to replace another that had fallen apart. This lock box is more sturdy and a little bigger than my old one. All my documents fit perfectly in the box. Remember this is not a high temperature or super secure lock box, but for my needs it works great.

This is really nice! It’s made very well, the black paint finish is shiny and very durable. The lock works perfectly and it comes with two keys. I read the dimensions, but I’m even happier seeing it in person. You can very easily fit flat 8 1/2 X 11 papers/folders in the box. Plenty of room! Like the handle placement. It did come with some dents in the sides, the shipping box and the box it came in were undamaged so I expect it happened at the factory. The paint doesn’t appear to be broken so it shouldn’t rust. Just what I needed. I have already put it to use to safely store important medical, long-term care, and life insurance policies. The oversize dimensions easily accepts the documents flat without having to fold everything and allows finger room at sides to ease removal. I recommend it.

It was delivered 6 days earlier than the original arrival date which was very much appreciated. The safe box was well packed and came it with no damage. The box size is perfect to store documents on standard letter-size and the key is working properly. This fire safe box fits perfectly the shallow drawer it will reside and seems well constructed. The only thing I don’t like so much is that the key has to be wiggled and maneuvered to fit into the lock. Otherwise, a big thumbs up.

The quality is very similar to those that I have had for 10 - 15 years. It is solid, well built and the key operates easily. It arrived undamaged, although I requested it be put in a Amazon shipping box rather than only in the box it came in. A minor design issue is that you are unable to take the key out of the lock when it is in an open position, it can only be removed when locked which probably makes sense for most situations. ... show more
