Please be careful if you plan to purchase this scooter. It took a long time to reach me (which I can deal with) but then we realized the tire was flat and couldn't be repaired after 1 hour of use (no holes or anything that could be patched) so I tried to buy a new tire. Amazon has no idea what time I need and neither do I, since there is no way of knowing who the heck actually manufactured this thing. It lists Amazon as the customer service for this product, so I contacted them and they contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer never got back to Amazon, so Amazon decided that they would just make this my problem and want me to start calling half way around the world and try to get in touch wtih a company that won't even reply to Amazon, so why in the world would they reply to me? Amazon can't seem to understand why their "solution" is a problem and the manufacturer (whoever they are) seems to have disappeared. Sad too, because other than the tire, it worked pretty while in the short time I could ride it. ... show more

So I've had this scooter for a couple months now and really like it. Mine came with two chargers which charge the battery quickly. I'm about 220 lbs. and was able to get the scooter up to 34 mph on a flat section of roadway with all the settings maxed out. I do wish it had a higher amperage battery for additional range, but the battery that comes with it gives ample range if you don't constantly dog it. My only gripe with this scooter so far is the brakes. They grab; both front and rear so I have to be very careful that I don't go flying over the handlebars whenever I need to slow down. The only other grievance I have is front wheel wobble when I get going much faster than about 25 mph. I've scoured the internet looking for a steering damper setup that will bolt on, but found none made specifically for this model. I did buy a steering damper with mounts that would fit the Varla scooter, but this particular scooter doesn't have the requisite mounting holes at the bottom of the stem so I may try attaching the mounting bracket to the bottom of the stem using JB cold weld or I may just drill and tap some holes at the bottom of the stem. This scooter doesn't come stock with any led lighting effects but they're easy enough to add using aftermarket lights available here on Amazon. I've also added griptape for the floorboard, a cup holder, phone mount and stem-mounted travel bag. Delivery was delayed a couple of weeks, but that doesn't really have any bearing on the scooter or the seller, just the carrier. UPDATE: The rear motor burned out the other day. I was in second gear in single-motor mode so I wasn't going that fast and it just ceased working. I stopped to check what was going on and touched the rear motor hub to check for loose wiring, etc. and the motor was piping hot. I let the motor cool for a while before checking to see if it would work again, but no joy. I only have 104.9 miles on the scooter. I sent a message to the seller here on Amazon a couple days ago to see if this would be something they would replace under warranty, but they haven't responded. So much for customer service. I purchased my daily sport scooter for two main reasons: to commute to work and to have fun while doing so. I have since found other valuable reasons for riding my scooter.We live in a motorhome and we sometimes move further away from my work. While stationary, I have a 1.8 mile scooter commute to work. While further away from my work, I simply commute to the train station or bus stop and bring my scooter inside the train or on the bus. As I mentioned, we live in a motorhome and we travel in the summer. Many rv’ers scope out their site first before pulling into their camping spot. I just unfold my scooter and zip to my site, check it out and head back to the rv. My scooter has confidently taken me to the extremes of off roading from the Poconos mountains of Pennsylvania up throughout the east coast. This scooter is the baby brother to any quad cycle, just more maneuverable. Don’t be mistaken, this scooter is not a toy. It requires safety gear and careful attention to its speed and shear power. If it can carry a 200lbs plus adult like myself, it can handle most any rider. Though I am super pleased with my daily sport, I must mention some items that may help the manufacturer and potential buyers. Longer commutes may require seating.     • Good power, speed and great brakes…..but

Needed an electric scooter to mainly ride around the paddock and pits at the race tracks I ride motorcycles. I’m 215lbs and in full riding gear around 260. Scooter has enough power to carry me up steep hills and plenty of speed. The hydraulic disk brakes are excellent, very responsive and powerful. The manual is seriously lacking and doesn’t explain much. The steering stem was not tapped to allow the screw to thread that holds the cover, easily fixed and just a small optional cosmetic piece. The foot surface is slippery and so had to order some traction tape to fix. The handlebars have a little play in them when locked upright for riding from where the steering stem folds down for transporting, minor annoyance. Kick stand pad fell off a few times so had to glue it in place with RTV Silcone adhesive. Tried to contact the seller about the problems and found there was no way to contact the seller directly for tech support, had to go thru Amazon customer service, which was disappointing. Overall I’m happy with the purchase, this scooter had the highest performance specs for the price with the dual 1200watt 60v motors, dual hydraulic disk brakes and large battery; other scooters with these specs are around 500.00 more ... show more
