This review is for the White LED Strip Lights, CT CAPETRONIX 16.4ft 6000K Bright 300 LEDs Flexible Tape Lighting Kit. Pic shows light strip, some connectors, clips, and a power cord. Easy to install, easy to cut if needed. Light is bright. No on/off switch so you’ll need to add one if you want it. It does include the power cord - I noticed not all strip lights do. Amazon is asking me to review and rate the remote control - this item does not have that feature. I used part of the light strip under a cabinet above my coffee bar area. It lights up the area nicely. (The rest of the strip will be used in paper cut shadow boxes.) If you don’t need to connect them, you won’t need to worry about this part as they come out of the package ready to plug in and use. I needed to cut them and use a connector. The instructions don’t say if the strip goes over or under the pins in the connector so I had to try both ways to figure that part out (FYI, they go on top, which is unfortunate because they more easily just slide in under). But once I figured that out, they went together easily. They’ve been on pretty much 12 hours a day every day for a week or so now, so far so good. But obviously I can’t attest to their lifespan at this point. The adhesive seems to be good - again, I can’t say how long it might last - but there are little clips included in the package so if the strip adhesive gives out then I’ll use the clips. I have really nice more decorative under cabinet lights under a different bank of kitchen cabinets and they’re great - but they were much more expensive and more difficult to install. These strip lights are a simple and inexpensive way to add lighting to a space. Update Oct ‘21: The adhesive gave out after about 6 months. I should note that my espresso machine is right below the light strips and it is used almost daily. The heat and steam may have been a factor in the short adhesive life, hard to say for sure. But, it’s been about 7 months now and the lights themselves are working great still. They’re on all day almost daily. ... show more

These LEDS are nice and bright, the adhesive isn't terrible, it's held up for some time now on my 3d printer printer enclosure. Buyers beware! It is easy to dismiss the occasional failed AC/DC adapter by accepting it was just it's time to be changed out, however after experiencing my latest I pulled out the box of failed adapters to come to the disappointing realization that I have experienced a 31% failure rate with this product. I have been purchasing these lights for my toy museum since August 2022 because they are extremely easy to set up and put out great lighting for my displays. However, it seems with each batch of lights I order I receive a defective AD/DC Adapter. After recently experiencing another failed AC/DC Adapter, I pulled out my box of the failed adapters to count how many have failed over the past year and a half. To date I have purchased 84 units and have had 24 AC/DC adapters fail and 2 dimmers resulting in a 31% failure rate. For those suspecting human error, I have closely followed the instructions when installing the lights. I used approximately 10 ft of lights per AC/DC Adapter (far less than the 16.4ft supplied in the box) to ensure I did not overload any one adapter. Care had been taken when cutting the light strips and compatible/recommended wires/connectors have been used when connecting the light strips. Additionally, each adapter had been plugged into a power surge protector suitable to handle the number of adapters plugged into them. But not for the 31% failure rate I have experienced with this product, I would have given this product a 5-star rating. However, when the occasional failed adapter culminates to 31% I have no choice but to give this product a 1 star. ... show more
