The media could not be loaded. I purchased this laser, the first one that arrived would not track correctly, and burnt double images. After much research online for possible fixes i found this is a common problem with the eccentric nuts and belt tension. No matter what I did was not able to get the laser to burn anything correctly. Returned the first and ordered a second hoping it was just the particular laser i had received. The second one i received worked only marginally better. Still has issues with ghost imaging. Cutting images often are off coordinates and if doing multiple passes they often dont match the same coordinates on the second or third passes. Used both Lightburn and GRBL software. I am an experienced operator with lasers having operated Epilog at work and personally owning an XTool product. These units are worthless and should be avoided at all costs. Two lasers...both malfunctioning. Not taking a chance on a third. Basically a $500 paperweight on my desk. Hopefully i can save the next person some issues I updated the review on Sept 15th with a video ... show more

I have owned a prototyping manufacture for many years and I have a large co2 laser but needed something smaller that I can do unique jobs, This fit the bill. I have so far used it to cut 1/4 birch ply wood. Etch stainless steel. I have made switch panels out of acrylic. I will continue to push this unit to its limits. for 7.5watts I was expecting much less. Soon I will post a video on this on youtube. I'm that impressed. I have now also ordered the air assist and the honeycomb tray. ... show more

This enclosure is pretty nice however the exhaust setup leaves room to be desired. The fan makes an ungodly noise, screeches, squeals, and grinding. Then you have the flange and duct, they are small 3” I think. The duct hose is pretty short maybe 5’ if you’re lucky, so you have to set it up under a window which unfortunately I cannot do at the moment. It’s about impossible to find that size duct to make an extension. Also the hose clamp is absolute garbage, the screw mechanism doesn’t come in contact with the slots, so it’s useless. ... show more

The filtered see through panels are great for protecting your eyes and the built in vent removes harmful fumes while cutting and engraving certain materials. The enclosure also helps keep dust away from the laser when not in use
