This is easy to use and does a decent job vacuuming the bottom of the pool. The lack of indicator lights on the unit makes it hard to know when it is "on". Often, I'll push the button to turn the vacuum on and then put it in the water, only to find that it isn't turned on. For the price, this robot works better than my expectation. But the wheels are not durable and broke after 6 weeks. Contacted seller got new wheels very quickly. Recommend this one if you have small to mid sized pool.

I purchased it in August of 2023. While it is nice to have an automatic vacuum do the work it will not pick up fine dust so an alternative way to do that is still needed. Anyway, the vacuum stopped working in late April of 2024 which was very disappointing. The return window is over of course so I'm not sure if is even worth the repair or if it can be repaired… ... show more

So when I read the listing for this cleaner I was excited because it was cordless and my current pool cleaner needs to use the skimmer for suction thus while cleaning the skimmer does not work so the surface does not get cleaned. After charging up the cleaner I set it loose in the pol. It took off like a rabbit and started across the pool really fast so I was excited. That quickly waned because it just went back and forth in the same path over and over again. Always in the same line. There is a slight slope and the edges of my pool so I assume that since it was not running into the wall per se that it was not going to turn around. After moving it to a new location it encounter the transition from the deep end to the shallow end and it could not make it up that slope. So the slightest slope it is not going to make it up. What parts it did go over it did a great job so if your pool is perfectly flat this might work for you. As I read the listing more and more the title says for inground pools up to 1000 square feet which mine is not even half of that. When you read the listing more and more it only says above-ground pool so if you have an inground pool with any kind of slope in it this probably ain't gonna get it done for you. I gave it three stars only because the listing is somewhat off and the fact that it could not even make it up the slight slope from my deep end to the shallow end so now I am stuck with something that I cannot use. The media could not be loaded. In full transparency, we’ve had this for 24 hours and used it once. Read reviews all of the options out there. This one didn’t have a zillion reviews, but the ones I read were great. Our pool seemed clean, but just had some debris at the bottom. Amazing what it picked up!! I am thrilled we got this. Only need to use the skimmer now sometimes. We have an intex filter too so that’s been helpful. ... show more

For the product: Pros: -inexpensive compared to the ridiculous Polaris hydraulic system that came with our pool and constantly broke. -no long hose (from the polaris) taking up space in the pool Cons: - it drives so fast initially that it doesn't really suck up medium sized leaves -the switch button on the bottom is really finicky. I usually have to press it 5 or 6 times to activate it -the design makes it hard to pour the extra water back into the pool without dirt going back in too. The seller/manufacturer, however, is top-notch! I have contacted them twice for problems and received responses within hours and replacement parts in days, all free of charge! The first time, I dropped the unit the very first time I took it out of the pool using the included hook on a pool pole (D'oh!). The teeny axle of one of the wheels sheared. Seller replaced it within 4 days! The second time (6 months later) I just found a wheel laying on the bottom of the pool. So they sent me two new wheels because I am clearly a problem child. So the martian green pool vacuum is still speeding along! ... show more
