I can’t brag enough on this Dolphin. This machine is amazing at cleaning my entire pool bottom and super easy to use and clean out. I LOVE the extra large filter that even catches sand! Have had the Hayward pool cleaner for many years and thought it did a good job until my neighbor bought similar pool cleaner, she bought the Dolphin Nautilus. Cleans tile...does steps and picks the tiniest sediment all while continually scrubbing. Watched the video after saw neighbors for myself. The video is accurate. It does an amazing job. We ended up getting the Dolphin Escape because we have a lot of leaves from oak and mango trees and the only difference is Escape had larger basket for whatever it picks up. You will be amazed of how mush debris and sediment is in basket. It will run for 2 hours and then shuts off. Love it! ... show more

    • This is a great product.
I have a 24' round above ground pool that I hand vacuumed for the last 20 years. I decided to treat myself to a robotic vacuum, even though I was apprehensive about the effectiveness of any unit. This Dolphin M600 is truly amazing. Powerful, and actually climbs and cleans the vertical sides of the pool. Cleaning cycle for my pool takes about 1.5 hours, and the robot did not miss a speck of dirt. Since there are no pool hoses, it is easy to set up and start and easy to put away. Filter basket easy to remove and clean with garden hose or in a utility sink with a hand sprayer. I originally thought it was a little pricey, but I am convinced it is absolutely worth every penny of the price. I am guessing late summer when the tree leaves start to fall, it is probably going to be a good idea to scoop up a lot of the leaves as it would likely fill or plug up rapidly.     • It works great but note that it doesn't climb walls
I had the impression from reading the description that it would still climb the pool walls but when I got it, the instructions specifically said it did not climb the walls as it was made for above ground pools. So a little bit of a bummer on that, but maybe that was my bad. Otherwise it works amazing, waaaay better than other robots I have used. This is the best one so far! Its also the most expensive one I have yet purchased. It has great suction and the brush really helps. It does act like it is going to climb the wall but then stops and goes back. Great cord design, it doesn't get in the way at all. It picks up dirt and debris really well, and you do need to make sure to clean it out after every use. It doesn't pick up the find dirt particles. Apparently you need a different filter for that. I found this out after getting it there is a pamphlet that talks about how they recommend purchasing the fine filter and using that for regular cleaning and the one that comes with it for initial cleaning to pick up larger debris. Another thing I was confused on was I thought this one could be controlled from an app but it does not. To confess I was reading looking at several models of these so I may have gotten confused as to what this one did and didn't do. Because all of this was not clear on the product description, at least not for me, I have knocked a star off from the overall rating. ... show more

    • Worked great until it didn't.
UPDATE - here is what you are looking at IF you decide to send it in for a repair estimate. First, shipping it back - cost us $75 at the UPS store. Got an email back from Maytronics saying if we want it back unrepaired, we'd have to pay another $95 - $30 for freight shipping and another $65 for their diagnostics (which told us the power supply was the problem - another $242 would be required for a new one, so total repair cost on the invoice they sent us - #337!! This cost us $729 when we bought it. Not a good return on investment when you calculate how many cleanings you actually got out of it before it broke. BUYER BEWARE. I will not recommend this brand to anyone. VERY disappointed with Maytronics quality. Like the title says - it is great when it works. It stopped working out of nowhere. Maytronics wants you to send it in for repair in the box it came in - so keep the box. They will also charge a minimum of $99. to fix it - I guess they'll charge even more if it's complicated to fix? - PLUS return shipping. We bought the insurance through Amazon and that was a huge hassle as well. Maytronics argued with us that it was out of warranty when it clearly wasn't. Have to buy another brand and it won't be this one. ... show more
