I can’t brag enough on this Dolphin. This machine is amazing at cleaning my entire pool bottom and super easy to use and clean out. I LOVE the extra large filter that even catches sand! Have had the Hayward pool cleaner for many years and thought it did a good job until my neighbor bought similar pool cleaner, she bought the Dolphin Nautilus. Cleans tile...does steps and picks the tiniest sediment all while continually scrubbing. Watched the video after saw neighbors for myself. The video is accurate. It does an amazing job. We ended up getting the Dolphin Escape because we have a lot of leaves from oak and mango trees and the only difference is Escape had larger basket for whatever it picks up. You will be amazed of how mush debris and sediment is in basket. It will run for 2 hours and then shuts off. Love it! ... show more

    • This is a great product.
I have a 24' round above ground pool that I hand vacuumed for the last 20 years. I decided to treat myself to a robotic vacuum, even though I was apprehensive about the effectiveness of any unit. This Dolphin M600 is truly amazing. Powerful, and actually climbs and cleans the vertical sides of the pool. Cleaning cycle for my pool takes about 1.5 hours, and the robot did not miss a speck of dirt. Since there are no pool hoses, it is easy to set up and start and easy to put away. Filter basket easy to remove and clean with garden hose or in a utility sink with a hand sprayer. I originally thought it was a little pricey, but I am convinced it is absolutely worth every penny of the price. I am guessing late summer when the tree leaves start to fall, it is probably going to be a good idea to scoop up a lot of the leaves as it would likely fill or plug up rapidly. Other than that small issue, I am 100% happy with my purchase. ... show more

    • Great While It Lasts (2018 Model)
Pros: Awesome product . . . while it lasts. It cleans extremly well, especially if you add an ultra-fine mesh filter basket. Leaves, small debris, twigs, etc., are all gobbled up by this thing. It even aids in pool opening due to its filtering capability. Cons: These things appear to be designed to fail at about the five year point. (Do some research on typical failures and longevity.) Some only make it to 3.5 years, some, like mine, make it to six years or slightly beyond. Repair parts are virually non-existent with the exception of motors which are nearly as expensive as an entirely new unit. These are great while they last, but consider them a consumable, just as you do your SWG or chlorination chemicals. You WILL have to replace it sooner than you think you should have to. ... show more

    • Worked great until it didn't.
UPDATE - here is what you are looking at IF you decide to send it in for a repair estimate. First, shipping it back - cost us $75 at the UPS store. Got an email back from Maytronics saying if we want it back unrepaired, we'd have to pay another $95 - $30 for freight shipping and another $65 for their diagnostics (which told us the power supply was the problem - another $242 would be required for a new one, so total repair cost on the invoice they sent us - #337!! This cost us $729 when we bought it. Not a good return on investment when you calculate how many cleanings you actually got out of it before it broke. BUYER BEWARE. I will not recommend this brand to anyone. VERY disappointed with Maytronics quality. Like the title says - it is great when it works. It stopped working out of nowhere. Maytronics wants you to send it in for repair in the box it came in - so keep the box. They will also charge a minimum of $99. to fix it - I guess they'll charge even more if it's complicated to fix? - PLUS return shipping. We bought the insurance through Amazon and that was a huge hassle as well. Maytronics argued with us that it was out of warranty when it clearly wasn't. Have to buy another brand and it won't be this one. ... show more
