    • Replaces a lot of cumbersome tools in a lightweight handheld package
So far, this thing totally rocks! Normally, I only write a review when something is not working well - or really poorly. Not the case here at all. I normally use a corded electric hedge trimmer , corded chainsaw, long handled loppers (knuckle busters) and a machete. For many jobs, this small handheld chainsaw replaces all those. I really don't miss having to drag a cord around or smashing my knuckles with the loppers. So far, I am still using the first battery and I have done a decent amount of cutting. I am amazed they are able to provide this tool with 2 batteries, charger, case, safety glasses, gloves and some tools at this price point. I have two small issues that are kind of related. I believe the saw is a bit coarse and it will tend to chatter i.e. bounce around on some harder woods and also on smaller branches that flex as you cut. A finer grain saw blade would slow it down on some cuts but it might be worth them experimenting with. One might have a tendency to hold the bouncing branches with the free hand but the saw can catch on the piece being cut and sometimes tend to draw your hand towards the saw. Great tool!     • Easy to use for beginners and gets the job done
I have never chainsawed anything but I bought this to handle some thick and fast growing weed trees that were too hard for me to lop. This worked like a charm! It made the project go by quickly and was actually fun to use! These trees were about 2 inches in diameter. So easy!

    • Small chainsaw for small stuff
This is a small chainsaw and meant for small stuff. I have used it on some large things but you have to be patient and gentle with it. This thing works very well though. I like not having to get out my large chain saw for the smaller things I need to cut. This thing has served me very well. I love it! You just have to keep in mind that this is not a large chainsaw and not meant for cutting down trees. Charging doesn't last very long, but easy charging and has 2 batteries.     • Great branch trimming tool
I had never heard of this brand but decided to give it a try. Its performance has been really good. The chain has stayed sharp after many cuttings...surprisingly so. Safety button works but not decisive enough(small button) nor is it color coded so I actually have to pull the trigger to make sure it isnt on safe. Also, the chain gets a bit loose after 15 minutes of cutting but tightening it is rather easy or you can keep cutting with a slightly loose chain. These small chainsaws work well but they are so mobile you can cut yourself if you are not careful. I would buy this one again as the batteries are good and the chain cuts well. I was worried. But wow this little saw is great. I’m not easy on tools and am known to cut way more than what tools are designed for. This thing is great. It’s so lite and cuts through small trees. I’ve owned several gas ones and last one went with the house when I sold the house. Super easy to use and and most important in the 4 to 5 hours of use over various days it hasn’t jammed, got stuck, or even the dreaded chain come off. Just works. Keep a battery on charger as it will need to be swapped but did 3 hours of use this past Sunday and amazing. Oh, love the plastic case it came in as it stores everything together. ... show more

This is my third mini chainsaw. It has great power (so control it — can jump in a larger log), chains last longer than other models I’ve used. Has long battery life. Best mini chainsaw out of the three I’ve used. Really happy with this little workhorse. I do feel it often needs both hands on the saw for best control, but it’s getting those tough jobs done. (I am not as strong as some.) The safety is a click button, so if I don’t stay aware of it, I have accidentally triggered the chain. (Versus a press and release safety which stops the chain as soon as you aren’t pressing the button anymore). I would prefer a press and release but I’m so happy with it, I can take responsibility for being in the moment when working with the saw. A keeper!! ... show more

    • Powerful little chainsaw!
This mini chainsaw is pretty powerful for its size. After a fairly strong windstorm, my yard was littered with large branches, some as big as 5 inches in diameter. What would have taken me hours to cut up by hand, took less than 10 minutes with this powerful little chainsaw. If you don't have to cut down whole trees, this is SO much easier to use and much more convenient than a full sized chainsaw. Just what I wanted. The saw works great and is easy to use. It came with a case, extra battery, extra blade and even safety glasses. Great value and excellent quality. Cut through branches like a hot knife through butter. Every thing is all in one package. Great value.
