This is my new best friend for nighttime drinking. I always take a drink of something whenever I wake up at night. Usually I keep a plastic bottle of water by the bed because we have cats, and well....anyone with a cat will tell you how much they love to knock things off any flat surface. Bonus points if it lands on their human. A lot of water bottles and thermoses and whatnot that claim to be leakproof are anything but. Often the leak comes from water working its way through the threads of the lid. Or from the straw or hole where the straw goes. This is probably the first mug/cup/tumbler I've used that is legitimately almost 100% waterproof EVEN when there's a straw. First for the hot and cold maintenance. You can put ice cubes in, and they will melt fairly quickly. This tumbler isn't that good at keeping the internal contents insulated enough from the ambient air. But once those ice cubes are melted, the drink will remain pleasantly cold for the whole night. Works for me. For hot drinks, it helps if you pre-warm the tumbler by filling with hot water. Otherwise, the tumbler drops the coffee temp by several degrees. Hot drinks will stay hot for a couple of hours, then the temp drops off fairly quickly. After six or seven hours even in the summer, my coffee wouldn't stay hot-hot for more than two hours. At about four hours it was at that warm-but-I-can-still-choke-it-down stage. By six, it was ambient temperature and blech. This tumbler works a lot better for cold drinks for whatever reason. Even cold drinks in this tumbler in the car with me for several hours remained at a more constant temp than hot drinks did. Now for the best part - the lack of leaks. The lid on this is well designed. There's silicone gaskets and plugs to stopper up the straw or drinking holes when not being used. When using the straw, the rubber gasket grips around the straw tightly so if the tumbler falls, liquid doesn't get past this point. It'll still spill out of the straw top, but that's it. Now if you order some of those cute little straw stopper toppers and push them down on the end of your straw between sips, this tumbler is almost completely leakproof. A few drops did come out when the tumbler bounced and caused the straw to shift upwards in the silicone gasket, but it was far from even a minor spill. No changing wet blankets and sheets because your cat is a jerk at 3am and knocks your water bottle off the headboard. No more soaked carpets if they knock it off a nightstand. No more surprise garnishes like kitty litter or fur from them dunking their paws into your glass, or random bug going for a late night swim. No waking up to the sound of your cat drinking from your water glass. (Small dogs apply to these too!) Of the various insulated cups/tumblers/bottles we've used in the last several years, this one is the best when it comes to avoiding and preventing leaks. Isn't the best for keeping drinks hot, but I can l live with that more than yet another spill down the front of my shirt from a leaky travel mug. ... show more

Most coffee tumblers I have are only 14 oz max. This 24 oz cutie is perfect for an extended time sipping of coffee. But make sure to drink it within 2 hours because it doesn’t hold the heat that much. Though it doesn’t keep your coffee hot for a long time, it keeps your drink cold for a longer period. The dual use lid that screws on effectively prevents spills. The flip lid is quite hard to manipulate , but I figured if it wasn’t, then it would easily spill too. So that said, it’s really spill proof. It also has a silicone ring at the base making it slip resistant. The slim body style makes it possible for me to just pop it in my backpack’s side pocket. It has a flip up wire handle that makes it to carry around. The color I chose is Salmon and I couldn’t be more pleased. It’s resembles a beautiful milk tea color with a subtle sheen that is so pleasant to the eyes. ... show more

I was in the market for a new coffee tumbler and I’m so glad I chose this one! To start, it’s very pretty and sleek looking. I absolutely love the color (I got the light purple). When my husband saw it he even commented on how nice the color was. I love that it’s thinner so it’s very easy to hold and fits no problem in my car’s coffee cup holder. The inside is stainless steel so that’s great for keeping your coffee nice and warm. I had it in my car for my three hour drive and it stayed warm. Towards the end of my trip the coffee had cool down a little but was still warm enough for me to enjoy. There’s a little handle at the top which is a plus, easy to carry with just a finger. I love that the opening for sipping out of is on the smaller side, less chance of spilling or ending up with too much hot coffee in your mouth when driving (both of which I’ve done with wide mouth openings). The lid has an opening for a straw as well but I’ll mainly be using this for coffee. This tumbler comes with a stainless steel straw with a silicone tip and also a long cleaning brush for the straw. Not a huge fan of stainless steel straws but like I said I’ll mainly be using this for coffee. Several great features with the lid: it twists on very tightly so I had absolutely no problems with any leaks, there is no inner ring that you have to take out to clean, the stopper for the straw hole fits on very secure so I had no problems with it popping off when using my tumbler and lastly, the flip-top lid snaps down very tightly to prevent any spills when closed. If you’re in the market for a new hot/cold tumbler this should be it, you won’t be disappointed! Would make a nice gift as well! ... show more

The sippy part is hard to get up and down but this tumbler is nice and slim design. The color is a sage green and it is easy to hold and fits easily in a car cup holder. This isn't over bulky like some tumblers but still keeps drinks hot or cold for hours. The straw wasn't really practical but I still enjoy using this cup. ... show more
