The pillow came with an extra bag of filling, to add as needed, to fit the pillow to your needs. We added the filling with the intent to remove it until the pillow felt comfortable. No adjustment has been required. The pillow is very comfortable. It is firm enough to keep your head in the perfect position but isn’t so firm that you feel like you are laying your head on a cement block. We are mostly side sleepers but when I sleep on my back it is also comfortable in that position. It takes about 24 hours for the pillow to fluff up to fullest height, no weird smell noted. Best pillow I have bought and I’ve bought many expensive pillows but non have been as amazing as this one. I bought two a month ago and then bought again for my other place. The smell goes away when adding a couple of dryer sheets when fluffing your pillows. Watch out for Amazon delivery as they delivered two pillows with two separate drivers and one did not follow the delivery hours and left them behind the closed store at 7:45 am. I have purchased this pillow three times. The first pillow was left at a hotel. I was very sad because this is the only pillow that I found that provides me with the customized support that I need. I sleep on my side and the ability to add or remove the shredded memory foam is very key to me. There are other pillows like this on the market, but this is the only one that truly provides the type of support a side sleeper like me needs. It does not turn into a pancake after several hours of sleep. It does not sag in the middle like other pillows that I’ve had that have shredded memory. It does not get hot during the night and caused me to sweat. I truly is a very good pillow. The delivery of the product was really shameful. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t allow you to state the problem with the delivery. Only whether it was good or bad and whether you want to return the product. My box showed up full of some slimy what I think or hope with shampoo covering it. It did leak inside the box, but the pillow was wrapped very tightly and shrink wrapped, so it did not damage the pillow or the additional or extra stuffing. I’m not sure why a delivery person would deliver. Something like that with the possibility that the product is damaged. But they did. ... show more

I got this because I was having neck problems from my latex foam pillow. My sister is a PT and recommended it. It took a bit to get used to but my neck problems have improved drastically. I have to fluff every night but it's perfect for side and back sleeping. I do miss my pure latex foam but I think this is a good replacement. You can adjust how much filling to make it flatter or thicker. I had to take some out. I sometimes have to readjust the foam in the middle of the night but that just involves flipping it or punching into shape. It's been cold so I can't comment on heat retention but so far, I've been comfortable. ... show more

I was really pleasantly surprised by this pillow.. I thought if I’m gonna spend 70 something dollars on a pillow it better be good. I put it in the dryer once I got it and fluffed it up and the first night I slept on it it was amazing. I’ve been struggling to find a pillow that actually is comfortable and works, and I think I found it.! I received the package in good condition. Nicely packaged. The pillow came in a very nice sturdy box. It was compressed so when I took it out of the box I laid it on my bed. I held one end and just flipped it over a number of times until it fluffed up. I slept on it that night and thought it was a little too firm so I thought I would take some of the filling out. I have severe spinal stenosis and a lot of pain, but I feel it did give my neck good support and my body seems to be in better alignment. I've slept on it a few nights now and I am getting a good night's rest. Did not take out any filling. A nice package with additional filling is included. I am very happy with it. ... show more

***** 2 YEAR REVIEW ****** I purchase this pillow back in 2023 because I started having horrible neck pains from my other pillows. I've always used $20 pillows with no issues but I think since I've gotten older my neck became more sensitive and stiff. With that being said $75 for ONE pillow was hard to swallow, but I did a ton of research and this one had the best reviews. From day one this pillow has made a significant difference in how I sleep. It's the perfect balance between firm and squishy. I wouldn't say the pillow has any cooling qualities but I've actually never had an issue with it feeling hot. I would recommend buying a normal pillowcase for it because the one it comes with made my hair staticky and didn't really feel great? The packaging it came in was really nice and had an extra bag of fluff which I love showing people because they're just little squares of what feels like a light memory foam as opposed to that faux cotton plasticky stuffing cheap pillows have. I have had to throw it in the dryer to fluff it a few times and add more stuffing as time went on but I am so happy with this purchase. I even bought 3 more as gifts for my friends and family. I'm all about having a really sound and relaxing sleep and I couldn't live without this pillow.
