Follow the instructions and wait 48 hours. I did use the stuff that came with it to help. The magesafe charger taped to the dash wiggles a bit; foam tape so that is likely why.. but it hasn't fallen off. Even after hitting speed bumpers or me pulling on it. So.. it will grip on weird surfaces with the right prep and time. My dash is textured like most (see pic). Nothing else would stick. Including the tape that came with the charger thing. If it was black it would be better for my application but I'll go back with a sharpie or touch up paint when im bored. I can't see it behind the charger . I'm sure I'll find many uses. Got a bunch of the tape squares with it ... show more

    • Okay, but I don't recommend it for warm environments
The two sided tape strips are pre-cut in good sized pieces. They can be used alone or using the enclosed adhesion promoter included. I used it using both methods. I used it to secure a paper towel holder in our kitchen. The kitchen does get warm, but not unreasonably hot. Unfortunately, the double sided tape failed on tiles and under the wood cabinets. The surfaces were properly cleaned and prepped prior to using the strips. I would probably recommend the item for light weight adhesion and definitely not in warm areas. I was somewhat disappointed. Update: I increased the rating by one star due to the company's customer service. The customer service department was exceptional in reaching out and issuing tips to ensure proper adhesion. As mentioned on my initialreview, the double sided tape did not work for my initial purpose but, since then it has been used on other projects with success (not reattempted in very warm environments) . Overall, the company's willingness to reach out and back their product as well as customer's satisfaction is highly appreciated. ... show more

    • Seems to be very strong.
Reglued a large piece of plastic chrome back on my vehicle. Will it last another 14 years ? Only time will tell. The tape is holding tight.

    • Absolutely frustrating useless product.
Zero stars if I could give it. I couldn't tell if this worked...because one side of the backing tape literally won't come off!! Double sided tape can be frustrating, but this stuff takes it to a whole new level. The red side simply will not come loose, I ended up pulling the adhesive with it every time. Tried to use a paper clip and other things to loosen it, nothing worked. Save yourself the frustration - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. ... show more
