THIS IS NOT A SHIATSU MASSAGER!!!! I have a chair massager but it’s old and starting to fail. I found this one and liked the reviews and the features. It was packaged well and wrapped in plastic. I am 5’2” and the neck shoulder area should be at my shoulders but because I’m short it rests on the back of my head about where my ears are. Which isn’t a bad thing for me since I need heat and massage there too. It comes with 2 straps to keep it in place, one at the top and one where the back and seat connect. I have a power lift recliner and I was able to get the bottom strap over the recliner and tucked under the back cushion(pic). The top strap would not fit but sometimes you have to get creative. I hooked bed sheet clips together and put it behind the straps on the massager and then easily put it over the recliner and it worked like a charm(pic)! The material is soft and it’s comfortable to sit on. The massagers on the seat can be uncomfortable when sitting up on the edge of the chair, my old one had them too, so they don’t bother me much but they might someone else. Now it’s time to test it out. I went through all the settings and the 5 mode options are nice but I prefer a steady, constant vibration. Which is available on the individual areas. It does have the option to turn on/off the individual areas. It has high, medium and low speeds. I have to use the low speed. The higher speeds vibrate my head too much and makes my eyes hurt. Everyone’s tolerance is different. This is how I like it: I turn it on, I push the button next to each individual area, set it on low speed and turn the back heat on(pic). I relax for 30 minutes of bliss! The one thing I wish it had was a memory on the controller so all I had to do was hit the power button so I didn’t have to hit all the buttons every time I turn it on. Not a deal breaker though. It does come with a 2 year warranty that you just to go on Comfier’s website to register which was very quick and easy. You will need your order number. This was a gift for dad. He loves it! Actually whole family loves it. I'm going to buy me one now. The heat, vibration, & options are great & it doesn't have rollers so doesn't hurt family members with back & neck issues. We all fall asleep using it because it's so relaxing.

Materials seem to be of high quality and fit my chair perfectly! I bought this more specifically for the heating function, so I don't use the vibration motors very much, but it works as intended and I love how it makes my chair comfy!

The idea is there but in practice is not as expected. The heating it's ok but the vibration is too little, so it doesn't deliver what is expected. I guess, for the price, that's fared but I was hoping for something to deliver more.

I purchased the COMFIER Back Massager with Heat, 10 Motors Vibration Seat Massager for MYSELF. I always ache after completing a long days work or from pushing wheelchairs around. I love the stylish look, the various settings for massage, and oh the heat. What I dislike is the noise that this cushion makes on certain mode settings. I did find a way to reduce it by simply laying a folded throw over the back of the chair draping onto the neck massage section. I prefer to use it with heat, and on auto setting between medium or high levels of massage. After a session I do feel more relaxed. I'll be honest, I bought the gray as I located savings for choosing the color. I do not mid it much as it really does fit in my room. If you find you aren't partial to gray, just unplug it and tuck it away until your next use. It's easy enough to do. I would give this item as a gift without hesitation. ... show more
