Each inside packing area also zips closed, keeping your cloths and items packed in their place. I’ve had my eye on this luggage for over a year. I even had it in my carts on both Amazon and Delsey’s site. But I just couldn’t pull the trigger. My worries were the color, the single zippers and the sizes. When Amazon had this at a ridiculous price during Prime days I just couldn’t resist. I spoke with a lady at the DWF airport for had the carryon with her. It was very pretty and I asked if it was new. She said she had it for about 6 years. It resists scuffs and easily cleans up after a trip. While it doesn’t expand, its large interior holds a 2 week trip of clothing. I use the carryon and an underseater for a weeks trip and it holds all my makeup, shoes, hair care appliances and clothes. While my daughter says this luggage is only for private jet trips or appearing in Hallmark movies, I think it’s luxury at its best. Thanks Delsey and Amazon. ... show more

*update! I also bought the carry-on plus size and it fits/nests inside the trunk size! Yay! I was afraid it would not nest because the trunk is an odd size, but it fits entirely inside and zips up for easy storage. I have been debating if I wanted the traditional medium or the trunk medium and finally decided on the trunk medium. It is bigger than I was expecting which I love. One side is much deeper (like 80%ish) and the other side is shallow (20%ish) both interior sides are full zippered. Also the exterior bag zipper feels super strong, I’ve never seen a double zipper before, what a great idea. I always worry about my bag zipper popping open and my clothes going everywhere but not with this bag! When I put this bag next to my Samsonite large bag it’s about an inch shorter and 3 inches less across but thicker by about 3 inches. So it’s less wide but thicker, a skinnier from the front but fatter from the side rectangle than traditional bags. Overall the quality seems great and I love the unique old school vibe. What sold me on the trunk style is finally being able to use the stands that hotel rooms provide!! I also got the matching backpack which is great. This bag is tall so the nesting feature with the backpack doesn’t leave much handle (see pics), but not a big deal for me. This will be so easy to spot on the luggage carousel. ... show more

The 28" size luggage is considered "excess baggage." The fees were $200 each way PLUS was warned that oversize luggage is least likely to make it to its final destination on time. Had the hassle of returning the luggage.

Rolls very nicely. Has a heavy duty double zipper that appears very sturdy. That said it is not the easiest gliding zipper but still very functional and I like the idea and design. Maybe it just needs a little lube. So far so good with this. It's been on only 3 trips so far.
