  • Covers gray!
Color: 5C Cool Brown Size: 1.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have been highlighting my hair trying to blend in my grays but getting tired of it so I decided to use this. I got all of my stubborn grays first and then went through after 15 minutes and kind of combed it down so it would blend in so I would have a pretty rooty look and after a total of 20 minutes rinsed it, and it looks great. It blends perfectly. I'm normally a light to medium ash brown color and it matches perfect. ... show more

  • Good coverage, no Ammonia
Color: 5 Medium Brown Size: 1.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I use Clairol Root Touch-up because it provides good coverage with no ammonia. If you color often and want to only concentrate on your roots, try this product. Most other hair color products contain ammonia.

  • Good coverage
Color: 8 Medium Blonde Size: 1.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I had wish it would be enough. I had to buy 2 of it in order to endure to have enough product. The manufacturers should really consider to have more product in it. I love that is natural.

  • It works

Can't find in stores. It works as represented. Price is O.K. but not a bargain.

  • Good match for 6R/Light Auburn Shades, but has more brown, so roots look really natural.
Color: 6R Light Auburn/Reddish Brown Size: 1.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I love this stuff. My natural hair is dark brown with some grays, but the "baby hairs" on my neck and forehead are very light. I dye my hair with "Light Auburn" (Loreal 6R shades), and about 6 weeks later need to re-dye (you can see the brown roots as a distinct line against the red). I used to use the 6R hair color to touch-up (following the "touch-up directions") but it leaves my hair all the exact same color (the hallmark of home-dying...). If, instead, I use the root touch-up, the effect is different: the root touch-up is just a tad browner than the dye, so at 6-8 weeks after a full dye, when I use the Root Touch Up 6R, rather than just more of the hair dye, my hair looks awesome--very natural (just slightly darker at the roots than the ends). Then, when it grows in, I do NOT have the distinct brown/red line...I can go 6+ weeks without re-dying, or until the grays drive me nuts. I can go almost 3-4 months without doing a full re-dye, but then I CAN (because by then my ends need a boost of red) do a full re-dye without saturating my hair. I have pretty generically brown hair with natural red highlights, pale skin and blue eyes, and have died my hair "Light Auburn" (Loreal 6R shades) for so long everyone thinks I have red hair. Anytime I have tried using any red hair color that mentions brown, such as Loreal's "6AB Chic Auburn Brown" or "6RB Light Reddish Brown", the brown deposited so heavily that it really looked fake (the brown will dye the light baby hairs on my neck and forehead, and it looks weird). I find that 6R (no B!) leaves the fine hairs that grown in around my face a light color, not dark, and it looks so much more natural. So I was skeptical about using a root touch-up that mentioned a brown in the name, but because the root touch up is labeled 6R (no B!), I gave it a try. While the root touch up seems darker than the regular hair dye, it does NOT dye the light hairs a dark brown. Yey! When I use the Clairol Root Touch-Up Permanent Hair Color Creme, 6R Light Auburn Brown, on my roots, paired with Loreal's 6R Light Auburn (Excellence or Preference...doesn't matter) on my hair, I get a professional-looking, natural look that, when it grows out, does NOT show a line. It may just be my imagination, but the 6R root touch-up is just a hair darker than the 6R hair color, so it is the perfect in-between. ... show more

  • Really covers but way dark color
Color: 8 Medium Blonde Size: 1.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
It can be hard to find a hair dye that really covers gray hair. Sometimes a color will fade with each washing from the grey hair more than the rest and the gray starts emerging in a way totally different from having "roots", but this really covers and lasts. In fact this lasts and lasts and lasts... However the color this particular one 8 Medium Blonde comes out is actually a Brown! I mean, a medium dark brown, too. Since I was just trying to cover some encroaching grey to get it to match the rest of my hair, it was a bit of an unpleasant surprise to have it come out much much darker than advertised. And... it lasts. Using a bleaching agent just isn't going to happen since I don't want to ruin my hair. Brunette it is for a few months! On the other hand, the product really truly does not smell awful like most hair color which leaves you wishing you could walk away from under the fumes. This is mild and almost not there in terms of smell so you don't have to feel sorry for the rest of the family - and they aren't complaining you're trying to kill them all with poison fumes! As to the color: Just check out the several color samples they provide in the description at the top, at the bottom, on the box and on the model and you'll see it's not just being on a computer screen - there is a real and pronounced inconsistency in the colors they show under the same color name and number. ... show more

  • I love the color.
Color: 5 Medium Brown Size: 1.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I love how easy this is to use. Usually I just need to do the roots and this is just right for me. Using a whole kit was making my hair darker and darker no matter how careful I am. I have been coloring my hair myself since I was a teenager, for bady now for the color. I have resistant greys and this does the trick! I usually make a mess with a big kit, but with this, it is just right amount to do roots and my hair is the right color just like it should be. I am a loyal customer and love it for it works so well. I have alot of hair and yet this covers the roots as long as I dont let it go too long between touch ups its all I need! Wow! I love it and the ease of use! Great value too! You get a little tray to mix the two items and a brush and it is so easy = wa laa! It looks great and healthy and shiny. ... show more

  • I do not recommend this brand
Color: 6.5 Bronde Size: 1.1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The seller shipped it on time and package wasn't damaged. I have no bad words for seller but the product itself. First of all it is so tiny! That would never ever be enough for anyone's roots. Overpriced for that amount. Also it doesn't have a color pigmentation on the contrary feels like bleach. It burns. I dyed my hair to platinum blonde it didn't burn like this product. No coloring whatsoever. It ll only bleach a little considering it is root touch up it shouldn't be bleaching but dying. Heavy chemicals. I would not recommend this brand at all. ... show more
