The media could not be loaded. I bought this fountain for my boyfriend's new law office. I lost count of the number of countertop fountains I looked at before deciding on this one because the spinning ball (and LED light) makes it so unique! I was afraid he might consider it too 'girly', but ended up LOVING it. He tells me he also receives visitor compliments about it often. The second picture shows how the fountain looks as-is. I bought a bag of stones from Dollar Tree, which are shown in the first and third pictures. As you can see, that made a HUGE difference in the look. I also included a 27-second video with this review, showing how the placement AND angle of the counter/table makes ALL the difference in whether the ball spins -- and how quickly. It took me a few minutes to figure this out, so I wanted to share this tip with you, to save you some time (and disappointment.) The last picture shows a clear piece of rubber I had to place under the back side of the bowl, so the fountain is titled ever so slightly forward. Other things could be used if needed, such as a small piece of cardboard. We have it plugged into a timer, and set to run 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Eight months later, and the pump is still running great! The water does evaporate, so we have to add a little more every after several days. I would love to have a second one in my home, but decided against it for two reasons: 1. I frankly don't want to regularly clean two of them. We MUST empty the water, wash the bowl/stones, and refill it with fresh water because the bowl gets slimy -- which is bacteria growing, as I understand it.... much like happens in pet water bowls. We use spring/bottled water, yet clear slime still 'grows' everywhere the water touches/sits. Although it can't be easily seen with the naked eye, I'm confident if the slime is left to build up over an extended amount of time, it would likely eventually begin to smell bad, and may even clog up the pump. 2. I have cats, so I was worried they may either slap the glass ball off the top (playing) and break it, or even worse, drink the water. I don't know whether ALL the materials used in the making of this fountain are non-toxic or not, and I'm unwilling to take a chance with my fur kids. ... show more

Craving the sound of water that really seems to help relax and balance me I obsessively looked at water fountains and read a ton of reviews and watched videos. So many looked cheap, cheesy or I didn't like the sound. I didn't have super high hopes when ordering this one but it was the best of the ones I saw from the pics which we all know often doesn't mean much. I was pleasantly surprised and the speed of delivery and that it looked better then even the pictures showed but was dissapointed to see there was some damage to the plastic bowl. Still I set up and was surprised how much I liked, the sound, that it had 3 speeds, easy to set up and the turning ball was so much better looking then I thought. It also helps let me know if the water is low when it stops which is kind of cool. I reached out to the seller about possibly just getting a new bowl, I was surprised by their quick response and eagerness to make it right. They sent a new unit right away to replace the previous. In conclusion, I HIGHLY recommend and happy to give both the fountain and sellers 5 Stars. Liked so much I got a second one and will likely be buying a couple more as gifts.     • Great product if not few issues
The product is great when it is functional. Here were some of my problems: (1) The plastic tube came detached from the unit. I need to squeeze my hand to fit the tube back to the outlet from the inside. Took me about 30 minutes to do so with my small hand. Instruction only mentioned the tube should be attached to the unit and never mentioned how to re-attach. If you have a bigger hand, good luck trying to re-attach the tube if yours come off when arrived. (2) There is a notch on top piece which I believe is for the power cord. But when the notch is rotated to one of these three hole location, the top piece will tip over a bit which would be a big issue when you have water right above power outlet. (3) The ball did not rotate for some reason. I have to manually turn it and it will keep rotating for a minute or two before it stops again. (4) I was hoping a quiet one but there is water sound when running (which I believe many people are looking except me). Other than all these issues I had, i think the unit does look nice and meet expectation. ... show more

Absolutely the best! I’d bought another fountain first and it sucked completely. Tried this one next. Pros: Motor is very quiet, just some slight white noise that is mostly covered by the water. Tranquil water noises. Easy to put together. Great directions! Perfect size. Highly recommend it all around! Cons: Strong little motor lol! It splashes without the glass ball, but I put a small stone there instead and works perfect! No on/off switch so you have to plug/unplug which I don’t mind. It’s made out of light plastic so I wouldn’t call it thick. But it is sturdy and made well so I’m not worried about it. Added some pebbles around the base and it works amazingly!     • It's cute I guess, but I was underwhelmed.
No matter what speed I adjusted the water flow it just sounded like I turned on a faucet. It didn't trickle rhythmically the way I thought it would.

    • Deceptive Advertising/Untrustworthy Seller

The actual size is nothing like what was advertised. Fountain is a table top fountain. Not taller than 2ft. Deceptive advertising at best! He charged $112 for it now it is being sold for $31.00. Unbelievable. Once the seller read the review, PeterIvan Shop (the seller) switched the pictures and added actual size and new pictures of other fountains to match a table top fountain. Not even of the actual fountain being sold. Very deceptive, untrustworthy seller on Amazon. I took screenshots of the previous images posted as proof of deceptive advertising. Update: the seller updated the pics inside the original add to reflect the actual size of the actual fountain. He also dropped the price from $112 to $31. Guess the reviews keep unscrupulous sellers honest. ... show more
