The media could not be loaded. This thing is mesmerizing and keeps my attention for long periods of time. I chose this particular one because of the features i.e. various colors, remote etc. Also it was the only company that I saw that has updated their design based on feedback from customers. It is very quiet, almost silent and doesn't make a mess at all unless you play with the illusion by sticking your finger or small objects into the drops, which is really cool when done right. Other than that, I've had it running for 12 hours and there is no splashing. The one suggestion I have for a future version is giving it the capability of variable speeds for both directions of flow instead of one fixed speed and pause. The water need to be purified and it last about a day or so depending on humidity before it stops working due to lack of water. The light to cause the effect is a few strobing LEDs. It also has a rather loud humming, but that wasn’t nearly as frustrating as the light. If you have a medical issue, this won’t work.

This was honestly so amazing! It was suuuuper easy to set up but I haven’t found a way to set the timer yet :) totally worth the buy! It has such a nice sound and the light is not too dim nor too bright :) my sister fell right asleep to the noise!

For a future model, it would be nice if the user could adjust whether the drops seem to "fall" upwards or (slowly) downwards. In other words: Make the frequency of the stroboscopic illumination adjustable.

In a way this is kind of cool. It drips water down to the bottom but uses a strobe light to create the illusion. If you don't like strobe lights then this product isn't for you. One other thing to note. The video shows a cat swatting at the water without the glass covers in the picture. It will run that way but it also splashes a little so you probably want to use the glass covers. Does it clear the air? I'm not sure. It works but I only turn it on every so often. The water evaporates after a day or two so you have to make sure it is filled up or it won't work. But, like I said, it does make it look like the water travels upward. Kinda neat. ... show more
