It really is 'mini', about 7 inches tall, but that's ok because it doesn't take up very much space on my desk. The pump is kind of noisy, and there is no sound of water falling. It's important to make sure the pump is completely submerged at all times, so I top it off with purified water every morning. It's very pretty and I love how it casts splashes of changing color on the wall and ceiling of my office. Too tiny + looks larger in the ad. Pretty but long silly light cord doesn't stay put to give good lighting underneath. Is there a larger version of this? Seems like a ripoff because it's so small.
