They are much thinner than I thought they'd be. It feels like they'd rip if too much paper is added and you use them heavily. It also doesn't appear they expand much. I bought them in order to create scrapbook page kits with leftover paper scraps as well as complete paper & embellishment kits. So, I wouldn't be using them for large amounts of paper storage. I forsee them ripping at the tuck flap closure with repeated use and at the seams if you add too much paper. ... show more

Nice folders. Got these envelopes with the flap so I could keep track of my vinyl sheets and scraps. This will help me to be able to use up scraps of vinyl. The pack for 8 but actually got a bonus and there were 9 in the pack. Something must have fallen on the pack however as where the scissors are pointing, there is a crescent shape that goes thru all the folders in the pack, front and back. Don't believe it will hinder the use of them but just a little obvious when you put a sheet of vinyl in it. Will be getting more as my inventory increases. ... show more

Edited to say the customer service was excellent. The envelopes themselves are strong enough. The closures don’t lay flat so that makes it difficult to get them in and out of the shelf . The edges of the envelopes on one side are not flush. This causes problems when trying to slide the envelopes in and out. The adhesive on the tabs is not particularly strong and because the closures don’t lay flat, they catch on the tabs and caused them to come loose. I don’t know that I will buy more of these, but I will use them to see how they work out. I also suggest counting the envelopes that you receive, I was shorted two envelopes. ... show more
