  • Great for smaller projects
Size: Small Color: Black
I bought both the large and small bags. I got tired of the shopping bag and having to dig to the bottom for my scissors. This small bag fits perfectly inside the car up front with leg space. There is enough room for the baby blanket or the shawl that I am currently working on. It holds standard skeins of yarn. Don't even think of the Pound of Love skein. It's too tall. It would fit on the end of the yarn storage section, but you couldn't close the zipper. I love the gromets. They are just big enough for me to get the yarn through. If the end of the yarn is too difficult, I use my crochet hook to pull it through. There are plenty of pockets for just about anything I can think of to carry. I've loaded it up with both crochet and knitting supplies and still have a couple empty pockets. ... show more

  • Love love love!
Size: Large Color: Gray Dots
I LOVE this bag! Tons of storage, functional, pockets, hook holders, etc. I could go on and on about this bag. It’s thick and durable you can carry it different ways. I love to take this on the go with me if I’m traveling or even going on a car trip somewhere. I can crochet and have all my materials with me in an organized and easy way. ... show more

  • Great to hold yarn for crocheting
Size: Large Color: Gray
I mostly use it now to hold my yarn. It allkows the yarn to feed from the skein without flopping around if you like to use the outer strand and bot the center one. I mostly make blankets and it's too small to hold them.

  • Wonderfully Practical
Size: Large Color: Pink
I crochet and once a blanket gets too big to easily fit in my purse this bag fits the bill. There's a place for everything and plenty of room! Slots for hooks, slots for yarn, even space for your water bottle and most importantly space for your latest WIP! You'll not find a bag you love more!

  • Best Crochet/ Knitting Bag Ever!
Size: Large Color: Pink
The media could not be loaded. THIS is the Best Crochet/ Knitting Bag Ever! I purchased a LARGE size in pink for myself and a MEDIUM size in purple for my 7yo daughter who is learning how to crochet and knit. I love, love, love this bag! It is PERFECT for traveling. I currently keep it at the side of my bed because I am currently crocheting a project (twin size blanket for my 6yo son). My hubby was in the hospital recently for surgery and THIS was the only bag that I brought with me. Just threw my wallet (in the project holder part), cellphone with otter box cover in the clear side pocket, car keys, compact mirror, and lip balm into the front zipper pocket in the mesh holder. When he went to the OR I threw his wallet and cellphone in with my wallet. As I waited in the waiting room I sat the bag on the floor or side table where I was seated and crocheted while I waited. When they called me to the recovery room I folded my project quickly, laid it on top of the bag, grabbed the handles and off I went. I would 1000% recommend this bag!!! It is PERFECT!! The medium sized bag for my daughter is PERFECT FOR CROCHETING but the standard sized KNITTING NEEDLES DO NOT FIT in any of the pockets or holding areas so you have to store them diagonally in the project holder part of the bag. I would 1000% recommend this bag for CROCHETING. See the attached video. The little pink zippered starter crochet kit (VODIYE CROCHET HOOKS 89 piece crochet hooks set with case) was purchased on Amazon as well. ... show more

  • A worthwhile purchase - sort of
Size: Large Color: Black
I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this bag and I'd like to share my findings so that maybe it will be helpful to others. I had three issues I was looking at for my purchase. I wanted to hold all of the yarn for a large project and keep the yarn separated from the project, I wanted it to hold my project, and I wanted to be able to take it with for drives where I would spend time in the car. My project has turned out to be two lap throws (I bought too much yarn for one project). I'll give them as gifts to a married couple I know so the same yarn will work for both throws. The blankets are cream with 3 different colored stripes at various points. My first concern was the width of the yarn slots. They do hold the wider cakes of yarn especially after I started using them. I have three colors and 6 cakes for the stripes, and could probably have gotten another 3 into those slots for one large blanket. BUT doing so closed up some of the other slots. AND It's a good thing yarn is squishy or I wouldn't have been able to get them in the slots. My second concern was that it hold my project. I'm currently 1/3 of the way through the first throw and it has plenty of room. I don't know that it would hold a twin size blanket though, and certainly nothing bigger than that. However, if you are just using it for holding the yarn on a big project it would certainly hold it all. My third concern was portability. I never go anywhere without a project, and I'm tired of hats and wash cloths. I wanted something easy to carry that would fit in the passenger seat or floor of the car. Yesterday I took it with because I expected to have some waiting time, the bag takes up ALL of the floor on the passenger side of the car. I don't like having my feet squished in the car and I put things like sewing under my feet so my car has plenty of foot room. I wont be able to keep this at my feet when I ride as a passenger, I'm going to have to try to find a way around that, if not it's back to a canvas bag. I don't usually buy gadgets without having a reason for it, for example a yarn baller for the shanks I get at a yarn shop. I don't like to take the time making balls so it is useful. The features of this bag are my first foray into a lot of the gadgets that I have seen in stores. First is the magic tab, as silly as it seems, and as much as I dislike velcro, I found that I really liked these little things. When I change yarn I don't have to hunt for the end of the ball its right there. It also didn't separate or pull the yarn fuzzing it up. Second are the slots for yarn. I'd have preferred fewer wider slots. Even if I had regular skeins of yarn I'd have only been able to get one into a slot anyway, and this way I get two or three cakes into a slot. Third is the lid. I know that this sounds odd, but I usually use a canvas bag or a large make up bag to hold my projects and pulling yarn can be a problem. The clear lid let me see my yarn, which makes me feel good (usually why we have a stash hmm?) The grommets made pulling yarn easy, and when pulling the first yarn from the center, usually a sloppy mess, you can just reach in the top from the project side to pull the mess though until it's used up. Also the split top allows me to stop what I'm doing at a moments notice and put my project away where it can't get hurt easily. So the top cover is easily my most favorite feature of this bag. I don't feel the need to carry all of my tools with me when working on a project so the pockets designed for specific things while nice aren't useful to me. Having pockets so I can toss a bag with markers, counters, scissors etc. would be nice. I do like the large pocket in the back for patterns or a magazine is nice. It will hold my tablet too, which is a plus when I go out. I may have to come up with something different for traveling though. That is a sad thing, but it does work for watching TV at night with my husband. I hope this helps. I see that I'm not the only one that got a poor quality product, You might look at another brand since this seems to be a problem with this company. ... show more
