I thoroughly enjoy using this compact steam cleaner for my cleaning needs. It effectively cleans mirrors, windows, and my blinds without the need for soap, which I find quite amazing. I don't use it every day, but I give my bathrooms and kitchen a deep cleaning with it roughly once a month. Admittedly, you do have to refill it fairly often, but it doesn't really bother me. While it's heating up, I'm typically finishing up cleaning the area I just worked on. One thing I wish it had is a water indicator to let you know when the water level is low. Currently, you only realize it when there's no more steam coming out. As for its sanitizing capability, I can't say for sure, but it certainly gets the job done, and it produces very high-temperature steam. I was initially very skeptical, given the variety of views and comments about this product. I recently moved into a military home in Europe and had to clean over 1200 square feet of grout, and this little steamer has been a champ. Here are some key points to consider: This unit isn't really designed for the extensive task I'm using it for. Its tank is inherently small and requires frequent refilling. (This isn't a fault of the product, just an observation given the amount of work I need to accomplish.) The unit works best with the long attachment hose, rather than without it. It heats up quickly. It operates quietly. It simply works. I'm not sure why so many people had complaints, but I'm inclined to think it might be due to overzealous expectations because the product functions exceptionally well. Overall, it's not an industrial machine; it's designed for general in-home use, cleaning, and sanitizing. It performs admirably, produces extremely hot steam, and lives up to its advertised capabilities.     • Workable steam cleaner.
"I've had good experiences with various products, and when I encountered conflicting reviews for other devices and a lack of reviews for the Steam, I decided to give it a try. Admittedly, it's true that infomercials can be misleading when it comes to such products. Using chemical cleaners is undeniably faster and seemingly more convenient than this steam cleaner. It's like a race between the tortoise and the hare, and this steam cleaner definitely moves at a slower pace, requiring some patience. My concerns about chemical cleaners revolve around the residues they leave behind, which can attract dirt and dust, the discomfort of handling and worrying about chemicals, and the potential risks of using them around food, utensils, cooking surfaces, pots, and pans. The advantage of the Steam cleaner (and likely similar handheld devices) is that once a surface or item is cleaned, it genuinely is clean. I have no qualms about using it on kitchen utensils, bread makers, microwaves, oven windows, and even kitchen cabinet fronts and vertical surfaces like the outside of the dishwasher, trash compactor, and the fridge. This device excels at getting rid of dirt in hard-to-reach places, such as between metal or porcelain surfaces (e.g., sinks or stoves) and countertops (like Formica). It's remarkably effective at ""rooting out"" such dirt, and I believe that touch-up cleaning will be quicker and easier in the future. Dealing with candle wax on the brick of the hearth (or a wall, which may require some patch-painting)? Wax removal can be a tedious task, but this steam cleaner is the best solution I've found. It does an excellent job of melting wax, making it easier to remove. As for the wait time for the steam to build up, I usually keep myself busy by scrubbing with a cloth or planning where to clean next, so it's not a major issue for me. It seems that as time goes on, the device heats up again pretty quickly. I've heard that it's boiling water while heating up. While it's not always scalding hot, the steam can get quite hot, and I'm confident it's hot enough to eliminate pathogens. It can also potentially burn fingers, so taking precautions is wise. Contrary to some other reviewers' opinions, my Steam gets very hot, and it works well. I can't say for certain, but the ""kettle"" inside appears to be made of metal. The plastic used in the unit and its accessories seems to be of high quality as well. When you're finished with the Steam Shot, allow it to cool sufficiently, then slowly open the knob to release any residual steam. Before disposing of the water, tilt the unit slowly on its side over your sink and pour the water out away from yourself to avoid any sudden, forceful outbursts of hot water. If this occurs, it suggests that the water is still superheated and potentially dangerous, so it's essential to let it cool for a longer period next time." ... show more

    • Absolutely Love It !!
I had some reservations about getting a handheld steam cleaner due to mixed reviews, but when it arrived, I eagerly put it to the test on various tasks. I am thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it to anyone. I initially tried cleaning windows with the squeegee attachment, but I noticed it dripped a lot of water when turned sideways. On a hunch, I attached the flat scraper without the hose, and it worked wonderfully to provide a nice, even spray on the windows. I then used a microfiber cloth to easily dry the windows, leaving them sparkling clean with no residue. I can't wait to try it on the exterior of windows with water spots. However, it's essential to ensure that the outside temperature is warm because the steam against the glass could potentially cause it to break. I found I could clean 6 to 7 windows before needing a refill. I also used it on baseboards, which it worked really well on, and it effectively cleaned the aluminum thresholds on my exterior doorways. When I applied it to my gas stovetop with burnt-on grease, it worked wonders. Additionally, it did an excellent job on bathroom fixtures and the shower.
