    • Works, but...temp?

What I like most is that I can use this indoors without my whole house smelling like grease. The filter in the lid seems to work very well! The oil temperature, though, is questionable for the highest 375 degrees. It takes a really long time to get fully heated, and the temperature light doesn't seem to work correctly when at range. So far, my handheld temperature probe has not shown it to reach the top temperature at all. It does get hot enough, however, for the foods I have tried so far: chicken, chimichangas, poppers, and sopapillas. I like the size of the basket, as it provides plenty of room to use tools for turning items over. I limited my larger foods to a count of three and smaller foods to eight/ten. Fried foods are a treat, but not something we would eat daily, so it will take time to try more things. I think it is worth its cost so far. It is easy to take apart and clean. I would be more impressed if the temperature was more precise and the "ready" light worked better. ... show more
