I bought two for a room with a low ceiling. Most low profile fans seem to have no screening on the fans but these do. They look good and work well and the fans are pretty quiet. With the cage on the fan I can rest assured that my growing grandchildren will not accidentally get their fingers caught.

Beautiful little fan, and it really moves the air well. The remote has a "breeze" function which makes the speed increase and decrease randomly to create a natural feeling breeze, which is cool. I added some cute crystals to mine because I can lol. Only downside is that the lights are REALLY bright. The fan is attractive, and blends well with vintage decor. For a smaller fan, it can really create a breeze. It was a nice touch that the light fixture included the Edison bulbs.
