Good: Looks good. It's not plastic. Reversible fan blades. Quiet in low level mode.... in HIGH, it will push a LOT of air, and, yes, it will be louder. Overall, I really love this fan! 1 star hit for the cheap remote. With the odd button presses, and distance issues.........if I had to use the remote, I would just return the product......sadly! Less electricity needed...........runs WAAAAAAAY cooler than my old fan. My old fan would actually heat up the room!!!! Yup, temp in room 76.5F...............while the fan was running...........and if I checked the fan temp (on the motor) - it was 110F.........! Temp in room before turning on fan was 73F On a hot day, it would be ridiculously hot. Now, I am comfortable........and...........saving money!! Oh, on the app install.....they ask to be able to get data, etc from you...........I said OK when I set it up, and then, restricted all the location/etc access via my phone after the set up. All seems to be ok. If you say "Alexa" turn on the ceiling fan - level 3.... the fan turns on..........then, begins to speed up to maybe level 8........then it will drop down to level 3. This is not an Alexa thing.........it is the way the fan works........... If you turn on a light in your house.............and it gets real bright.............and then settles down to normal brightness............that is the way this fan works............... It is odd........but once you see how it works, you are fine. Cons: Documentation lagging the product. I kept having to ask myself why this or that had to be done when I was assembling, when it appeared that it was already done. Not a biggie for me. For those that must follow the instructions exactly............it will frustrate them. Remote.......... It looks sooooooo cheap compared to the fan!!! No way it should be in the same box! I am using my phone and Alexa to change settings, so I will not be using the remote. If you had to use the remote..............wow, it will be frustrating. I'd rather have seen a button ON the fan....or a pull chain that you could use to program the setup....like in my case.... Oh, a last thought.... It did some with a plastic holder so you could put the remote on the wall - like a light switch. The buttons..... on the remote....... look at them, and you see the pairing and wifi buttons look almost exactly alike. Why would you do that? Well, I am not going to spend any time figuring out the remote now, since I will not use it (I hope not). But, let me say this...............the process is NOT intuitive............. - you press a button.......nothing.....then, you press a button and HOLD it...........yea, that seems to do something............ - there is a DELAY with the buttons........so, you press...then nothing, and then what you pressed starts up, only to be shut down because you have pressed another button!!! - there seems to be an issue with the remote to light DISTANCE............ at 3 feet, it seemed to work, then, go to 6 feet away and no good.........but, it was not consistent. Binding or setting up the fan with the wifi and bluetooth............ somehow i got it to work........How, I do not know............ but eventually got it to work. For me...... you are pairing your phone............to a light...........to a wifi............to a remote................ Instructions refer to the "device".....???? WHAT device? It needs to be specific...........at least for me. It will NOT work with a 5Ghz wifi..........it MUST be 2.4Ghz. In my case, I have Xfinity, and I was able to set up a separate 2.4Ghz line for wifi. I have had this fan installed in my bedroom for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. I was sick of getting up in the middle of the night to yank the pull cords on my old ceiling fan to either turn the fan off or turn it up (while trying to remember what speed I was at and how many pulls I needed to reach my desired speed). All that nonsense is gone with this new fan. I can control the fan with the remote (which I mounted by my bedroom light switch). But more often I use the very simple app on my phone or use Alexa to control it with my voice. It responds well using all three methods. I am not super handy and anything dealing with electrical makes me nervous, but after removing my existing fan, I was surprised how easy this fan went up. It took me and a buddy (who I needed to hold the unit while I connected the wires) about 20 minutes to install. Then just a few minutes to connect to wifi and my Alexa. The fan is very quiet. I love that it has 10 speeds. Pretty much level 6 and below I can barely hear the fan. Above that it is more of the whooshing sound of the air moving - not the actual fan. I tend to go to bed hot and then wake up a few hours later freezing. This fan is great for me because I can set a timer to turn it off after I’ve been asleep for a while. It also has a nice feature where you can change the fan speed/flow from normal constant circulation to a “natural” circulation. With the natural option, the fan changes its speed periodically to mimic that of a natural breeze instead of a constant wind. I also like the three fan blades opposed to the typical five. It looks more modern to me. Lastly, I like that I can control the brightness and warmth of the light by adjusting the yellow and white LED levels of the lamp with the app or remote. The only thing that was a little strange is that the yellow and white LEDs behave like two different lamps. What I mean by this is you can’t just turn off the light with Alexa with one command. You have to tell her to turn off the yellow lights and then tell her to turn off the white lights. The phone app also works similarly. I was able to get around this minor inconvenience by placing the ceiling fan lights in my “primary bedroom” Group in the Alexa app, but not the fan itself. This allows me to say “Alexa, turn off the bedroom.” And it will turn both the white and yellow LEDs off simultaneously with one command without also turning off the fan. If you have an existing fan, most people (with the help of a holder) should not be afraid to install this themselves. I nearly called an electrician to install before I opened the box and I’m glad I was able to do it myself and save the money. This was well worth the price and, as I can, I plan to replace all of the fans in my other rooms with this same unit. ... show more

The lighting options are fantastic! *we did contact the company but never received a replacement for the remote. Great smart fan with multiple speeds (9 to be exact). Sleek but neutral design can work with most interior themes and decor. The only issue is that it is a bit in the loud side. Electric motor does make humming noise, especially during start up.

Bought 2 of these (3 blade) and 3 of the 5 blade ones. My biggest regret is not buying all 5 blades. The 3 blade doesn’t have any issues outside of the remote not working, on either of them. Pairing was a pain in the butt. The actual fan is great. Just the remote doesn’t work. Advice, just buy the 5 blade. Remotes work perfect on those. The App does make it tolerable. ... show more
