    • Could've been better..
The lock itself is fine but the "protective" plastic end cap is useless. It is slightly too big and won't stay on. Also, the included peel and stick foam pads meant to protect the steering wheel from the lock arms just melt from the direct sunlight and leave a sticky, gooey mess on the steering wheel. Lastly, there are two small plastic pieces in a bag labeled "gift". Have absolutely no idea what these are for as there is no instructions. My suggestion for future buyers would be to purchase the black model as the red foam handle gets dirty easily and do not apply the foam pads to the lock arms ... show more

I ordered the steering wheel lock the day I caught a suspicious man in a mayonnaise-colored GMC Yukon speculating around my work truck. I've already had one car stolen right in front of my house in the past, so I'm not going to risk anything. Having been a victim of theft already, I am attaching every device i can as a deterrent to protect my personal property. This will add yet another layer of that protection by locking the steering wheel. This is very heavy build that easily slides open to securely attach to the steering wheel. Has 3 keys to keep backup in case you lose one. They provide a couple pads to attach to the inside of the bar that touches the steering wheel so as to not scratch the surface of the steering wheel. The key is unique in a half moon shape which is cool. The glass breaking tip is a great addition in case you find yourself needing to break the windows.
