So far so good. I have had this mount for less than a week. Not too difficult to assemble and install. Instructions were lacking. Doesn’t seem all that sturdy. If you take too hard of a turn it will inadvertently swivel. Will see how long this mount lasts. Hope it doesn’t break.

Bought this for the purpose of hanging from a/c vent. My former one worked great for years until I lost it, and this one broke after its first time transferring between a rental car and my primary vehicle. The small piece that broke seems to help create a tight clamp and now it cannot hold to the a/c vent securely and keeps falling off… I’ll have to order something new to replace the whole thing. ... show more

I absolutely loved the last one that I purchased, but it wasn’t available and this one seemed comparable. Unfortunately, it was a tad floppy at the connector so I had to place it in the windshield where it would sit on the dash. My old one was not floppy. Still does the job so thank you.

In my previous car, I had it mounted on the dashboard and angled the arm down to where I needed it. (The arm is very rigid and stays in place).
