So far so good. I have had this mount for less than a week. Not too difficult to assemble and install. Instructions were lacking. Doesn’t seem all that sturdy. If you take too hard of a turn it will inadvertently swivel. Will see how long this mount lasts. Hope it doesn’t break.

If you don't mind a clip that does not cinch down tight then this is ok. The clip is is plastic and if you try to tighten it up so it doesn't slip off the vent fins it moves a lot. Maybe mine just got brittle in the heat.

Flushing your money down the toilet is a better way to waste it. At least you’ll save the plastic used to make this piece of garbage from then landfill. I attached it to my air vent as directed. It fell off every time I put my phone in and after 2 weeks I realized why. The flimsy spring meant to hold it all together was bent. I truly love this phone holder. I’ve tried many but the simplicity and fit are just perfect for my car. It took me awhile to find the right phone holder for what I was looking for in my car. I finally found it with this and it was everything I wanted. In my previous car, I had it mounted on the dashboard and angled the arm down to where I needed it. (The arm is very rigid and stays in place).
