I am played up for 8 weeks and was looking for ways to solve the annoying little problems that surface when you are unable to bear weight on your leg. My art table is great for pulling up to couch or chair but if something falls off it is an ordeal to pick it up. I have to move the table in and out to get up or move from chair to couch. Then I though of dashboard sticky pads! I use it to secure the remote my pens, my medicine... Any of the little stuff you want close at hand. As others have said this pad is very sticky which is great in my book. It does not leave a residue on anything, it just holds them in place. I am using it in my house so I can't speak to the melting issue but it is a good price, and absolutely is making my life easier! ... show more

I purchased a brand new vehicle and didn’t want to place anything sticky that would leave residue. This works so great at keeping my backseat camera in place. It has never slid off. It's definitely non-slip... for most anything. It's sticky, which is ok for most things, just make sure your phone case is solidly smooth and not painted or stenciled or the like. It can pull it off, like it did to mine. See pic. It's sticky on both sides, so will stick to any texture. It's not the residue sticky, so comes off easily for repositioning... again, as long s it is a solid surface, without a thin covering of any sort. Leather, vinyl, plastic are just fine. ... show more

So I am not even going to place this in my car. I had a nice silicone pad in my other car and forgot to remove it after the car was totaled so was looking to replace it for my new car. This is VERY thin and VERY VERY sticky/gluey. Pretty sure this will just stick on the dash, add some sunshine and heat and it will never ever come off all the way. Rechecked the description and in one area it says rubber, one it says rubber and pvc, one says silicone and pvc, another just pvc. I am not sure what it is, or if they even know..... but its not silicone thats for sure, probably no rubber either. Its mystery goo. Mystery chemical goo. Returning it without even trying to install. Will try and find a nice silicone mat that doesn't melt in the heat like these thin goo pads. (and yes the instructions are amusing...they do not put any spaces between the words, just one long word lmao) Can I find something anywhere not made in China? ... show more

Bought this for a treadmill that has a platform to put tablets and phones on. Things kept falling off with the vibration. Had a small version of something like this in my car, that adhered nicely, felt rubbery but was not sticky. This thing comes with pull off sheets on either side. It is thin and really tacky and sticky and holds well. It can easily be pulled off and readjusted. It is a nice size and fit perfect size for the treadmill desk top. It also goes over bumps and edges nicely as you can see in the picture. It does not smell after a few hours. But it is sticky, which feels weird on the hands and dirt (and dog hair) sticks to it, Was expecting it to be more rubbery than sticky. After about 5 days it is a bit less sticky, but still is quite sticky. Not sure if the stickiness will go away. Update a few weeks later. Stickiness, still around, but less. Nothing has fallen off. ... show more
