I recently purchased two seat coolers. Living in Arizona, they have been awesome! They come with a cigarette lighter power source though, so I was only able to use one.     • Bulky. Useless After A Few Months.
I didn't take into consideration how awkwardly shaped this is and how it would be in the way of my shifter which is on the floor not the dash. This is probably better suited for use and a vehicle with a roomy console. However that's essentially irrelevant when the product barely lasts a couple of months I bought charger a few months ago and didn't put it immediately to use because of the size issue I mentioned before. I have a bit more knowledge about vehicle care and maintenance than the average driver, having grown up with a mechanic/auto enthusiast for a father, so when I decided to put it to use in my daily driver vehicle, I was pleased to see it read what I expected to see for the amps as well as the expected slight fluctuations depending on what I had plugged into it or whether my vehicle was driving or simply idling. But that was short lived. Inexplicably it stopped working after a few short months (2or3?) of use. I kept the same cords and accessories plugged into it the entire time: a 12v fan in one of the charging ports and a dual port charger with 2 charging cables for the Bluetooth speakers I use in the other port; a charging cable in each of the USB ports, leaving the type c port unused. I didn't switch around cables or cords. I didn't plug and unplug things into the 12v ports save the initial plugging in of the fan and dual USB port charger. I didn't move the whole contraption from one charging port to the other, whether in my vehicle or to another vehicle. I have no other electrical issues with my car. No blown fuses. The 12v charger that was plugged into one of the ports still works fine. I've tried plugging this into my boyfriend's vehicle with no luck of it just being my car. The thing is just shot already.
