I remember many years ago, before smoking was outlawed, all vehicles were equipped with a pop-up cigarette lighter. You pressed it down and it clicked in place, then it popped up after a few seconds, ready to light your smoke. I was surprised to find they are still available, except you have to press down and manually hold it in place for a few seconds. Too bad it absolutely does not work. Don't even bother to order it. I looked at several similar lighters, sold under different brand names, and the reviews for almost all of them say they don't work. I think they're manufactured by one Chinese company and sold under different brand names - so do not be misled: they do not work! I'll just have to continue using a regular lighter, and use the car cigarette lighter to plug in my tech devices ... show more
