I love that this phone mount provides an easy way for me to glance at my phone's map directions while driving and that I don't have to put a magnet on my phone or case permantely. I've been using this for the past 10 months. However, the last couple weeks have been hot and I've noticed that having this attached to the vent inhibits the AC from flowing freely from the vent towards me, which is unfortunate. I have removed it from the vent for the time being in order to maximize my AC and cool off faster. During the winter, I noticed my phone would get hot from the heat coming from the vent so I would take it down from there on occassion. Oh and for people who aren't familiar with how it works, it can be tricky to remove the phone from the mount the right way. Sometimes it would result in the entire mount coming off the vent when a passenger was taking my phone off to respond to a text. I don't like the windshield/dashboard holders as they seem to bounce around a lot with my heavy phone setup (iPhone 13 Pro + Otterbox Commuter case) and single-clip vent brackets aren't very secure in my experience. This bracket is just big enough for my phone case and seems hold everything tightly. It would be nice if the side clips were a tiny bit longer but they do the job. ***Be careful using a bracket that is really close to the vent! Divert the airflow when running the car heater or it might cause your phone to go into thermal shutdown! ... show more

Works great in my 2015 Prius. I was worried that, since the vent is directly above the display/audio inferface screen that my phone would cover the screen, but it sits mostly above it. The product itself does not fall off the vent like some I've tried. The weight of the phone does pull the vent closed a little, but that would depend on the car situation. This cellphone holder is very strong and sturdy, but the spring is a little too strong, you really have to apply force to put your cellphone on. Plus it is not adjustable or rotatable. There is other better options out there.

Bought this to use on longer road trips for a safer, easier to see, and hands-free navigation. I use this everyday and the attachments are very tight and stable. When going over bumps in the road, my iphone XR does not move at all. Fits really well in my Honda CRV. Only thing is that by clipping this onto the air vent, your phone naturally blocks most of the air vent so it can be hard on really hot days when you need the AC blasting. Just something to keep in mind as I didn't want anything that would stick to my car and possibly leave residue behind when removed or have to be permanent. ... show more

I bought this (again) recently for my daughter to use in her car. Third one I've bought so far. First was for me, second for my wife. I've tried a handful of vent mounts over the years and this is easily my favorite. First, there is no clip or adhesive. The rubber mounts hold on tight but don't damage your car (or melt in the heat and leave adhesive all over your vent slats). It's simple, it works.
