Update: tried it again yesterday with a sweatshirt and it worked perfectly. I like the size of the mat. Unfortunately, my sublimation image came out faded when resting the fabric directly on the mat. When I used my smaller foam mat with material over it- similar to a Cricut easy press mat, the image transferred perfectly. This mat is great! I use it for extra pressure on my automatic heat press for sublimation. It does exactly what it’s advertised to do. I have had some issues with moisture on it when pressing a few times. But that could have something to do with my craft space being super cold. I use this as a "landing spot" for my sublimated cups right out of the heat press. It is a heavy, serious piece of silicone that also will perfectly double for the base pad on my FancierStudio hot press, should the original becomes old or damaged.
