Terrible printer. Purchased 8/2023 and now it prints vertical lines. I just spoke with Canon customer service they said the printer is at the end of its life. 1 1/2 years and it does not work any longer. Do not buy Canon printers. Waste of money.

I love my printer it works amazing. I like that it comes with stuff to clean it. Very high quality print survivor in colors & neet. I'd like to wait a little while to get a review so that I can actually use the product and then be able to give my insight. This one really nice for me satisfied with my purchase. The only catch to me was when I tried to set it up The number of my printer was a little different than with the app was asking for this might be confusing but if you purchase one, you will understand what I'm talking about. But it's not a big deal because if you just go to the settings and you put in Canada. Instead of United States, you can enter in your number and it will work the same. I do believe these are shipped out of Canada. The buyer stop them from canada. Either way, not really sure how that goes long. Story short something easy to get around and not a major issue. In my settings I just put Canada instead of the u.s and everything worked just fine for me. It doesn't make any difference at all. First time buying an edible ink printer. Am very happy with my purchase. Extremely impressed with the printing quality. Have only printed out pictures of Italian tiles, but they look just like the picture of the digital image I purchased. Printed on both the wafer paper it came with (seemed good quality) and icing sheets I purchased. The people I gave the cookies to couldn't believe I had done them myself. Can't wait to try a photograph. Was very easy to set up and just followed the instructions that came from Canon. I hooked up via USB as I know I'll always be using the printer right next to the computer, so no need for Wifi (you will need to supply your own USB cable), and no one can accidentally print to this printer when doing regular printing. I printed using the back paper feeder with clear tab down (as many YouTube videos had suggested) and had no issues. Worked perfect right out of the box. Product came on day expected and with no issues. I will try to print around once/week as many videos suggested, so as not to let the head get clogged. Right now won't be an issue as I have multiple events coming up over next 2-3 months that I will need prints for. But I am just a home personal user, so hoping I don't have any issues. Have put out word to friends and family that I will print for them for just cost of supplies, so hoping this will help keep my printer active. ... show more
