Great for home usage, when you have to shred items. While you can't do a ton of stuff at once (it does have a temperature alert light if it's getting overheated), it does well for light to moderate shredding use.

If you intend to buy this Shredder, keep in mind to use the CD Destroyer setting to Shredd the papers if not you will jam the machine Up and it might not work again at all , thank God I figured out how to work the machine properly !!! And don't use 8 pieces of paper all at one time !!! This machine is not capable of doing that !!! just one piece of paper at a time Only!!!!!! and use the CD Destroyer setting only !!!! ... show more

I wanted a crosscut shredder, this is a straight cut. The gap between the shredder and the refuse is open leading to possible dust escaping causing a mess.
